Trovarsi is an LA-based music composer/producer, live electronic artist, educator, and streaming YouTube host. Over the past decade, Trovarsi has released her music on a wide variety of notable electronic music labels. Her work transcends genres, cultures, and boundaries, yet also authentically and reverentially embraces many creative traditions. With a hybrid blend of modular and analog synthesizers, drum machines, and Ableton, Trovarsi embraces Afrofuturistic electronic expression while remaining firmly planted by her musical root.
Trovarsi is the curator and host of Transduction Signal on DubLab Radio, a monthly interview / performance show highlighting unique live performance artists, composers, and producers in electronic music.
She is also co-founder of the Southern California Synth Society, whose purpose is to educate and facilitate interest in electronic music through synthesizers, modular DIY builds, and community events. She also founded the international streaming festival Frequency Shift, featuring female and gender-expansive electronic artists.
Whether performing in the LA underground or on global streaming platforms, Trovarsi continues to push the boundaries of electronic music.
Trovarsi brings the best approaches to integrating modular synths into the music-making process, offering an unparalleled opportunity for clubs to host a workshop that bridges the gap between technology and creativity.
In her dynamic sessions, Trovarsi can demonstrate and explain the use of hybrid setups that utilize modular synths for both live performance and recording studio applications. Her workshops delve into the world of modular synthesis, discussing her favorite modular synths and providing insights on how she identifies, compares, and selects from the options available. Trovarsi’s expertise ensures that participants will learn how to choose what best supports their creative freedom when improvising new live performances “on-the-fly.”

Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @risataniguchi for its 104th episode of Amplify Series.Risa Taniguchi is arriving at the forefront of the dark techno wave that has washed over the underground in recent years. The Tokyo born - and based - artist has spent recent years cultivating her own signature sound of distorted textures, fizzing synths and a quietly burning energy, which consumes all who hear it. Delivering shocks and surprises with a curious motif or unpredictable element on her set, for those who like to cut loose in a dark environment, she is the perfect selector.In the studio as well as the club, Risa focuses on the drums, programming kicks that bring visceral and often aggressive thrills next to a uniquely addictive layer of well designed snares and hi hats. Her signature has become her own subtle and intriguing vocal samples, best heard on Slipped My Mind and This Guy. She adds layers of acid bass and an always raw, edgy aesthetic. Having experienced them first hand whilst living in London, in 2010, Risa also has an enduring love of underground UK bass sounds, which can be heard in many of her tracks. The seventh Various Artists release on Mary Yuzovskaya’s Monday Off imprint arrives on vinyl in October 2024, with Yuzovskaya, Viels, ORBE, and D-Leria contributing tracks. It follows ‘VA Vol. 6’, which featured Blazej Malinowski, Michal Wolski, Xhato & Milena Glowaka, and won support from artists like Chris Liebing, re:ni, Gigi FM, and more.
First up on the record, Italy’s End Of Perception founder Viels conjures up a storm with ‘Nero’, a cerebral cut with crushing, low end-heavy atmospheres and mysterious alien signals. It is followed by Spanish techno lynchpin and Orbe Records boss ORBE, whose hypnotic ‘Rigging’ explores the abyss with foreboding sonics and a continual beep sequence that guides the track forward.
On the B-side, Monday Off label head Mary Yuzovskaya presents ‘Trouble’. A masterful bassline and bodied kickdrum starts the trip, providing an excellent foundation while alternating between rattling percussion, deep dub hits, and strangely familiar but indecipherable vocal snippets.
Sound design wizard D-Leria then closes out the EP with the spellbinding ‘Battito’, complete with mind-blowing melodies and swirling effects, rounding off another top-draw psychedelic offering on Monday Off.

Fresko is an entity which has appeared and disappeared a hundred times for long periods of undefined time, throwing back into war times. The sound might be placed above dark, aggressive backgrounds (scenarios) - although mostly in a not-so-proper way, given the clear conscience of the contrast between what's grotesque and what is deep. It contributes to the rave culture and sound by allowing several virgin connections between body and memory; systems which are already archetypes are meaningful to its progression, always attending to its own evident route for whatever 'exotic' may stand for - never the less, experimenting at all times, relying above all in its individual diverse languages and symbols. Currently based in Lisbon.
Fresko delivers a hypnotic set with strong UK influences in this latest mix. With a focus on groove-driven beats and subtle, evolving tension, Fresko showcases his ability to create an immersive experience that draws listeners into a hypnotic flow.

Michal Wolski creates both solo and in cooperative projects. In his artistic activity he applies techniques based on deep experiments with sound matter, including work with modular systems. One of the main figures of the techno music scene in Poland.
Michał Wolski's work fuels the catalogues of such labels as Nonplus Rec., Eerie Rec., Semantica Rec., Southern Lights Rec., Monday Off Rec., International Day Off Rec., Mnestic Rec., Technosoul, Recognition Rec., Kynant Rec., Qeone Rec., BAHN Rec, Oslated Rec., Inpureform Rec., Blank Slate Rec., Lost In Ether Rec., Silent Season Rec. etc.
He has presented his music through performances at festivals in Poland (including Unsound, Tauron Nowa Muzyka, Up To Date Festival, Warsaw Music Week, Audioriver, Warsaw Electronic Festival, Soundrive, Instytut Festival etc.), as well as in China, Spain, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Germany, Portugal, the United States, Ukraine, Hungary etc. and at countless cultural events in music clubs and cultural institutions. His performances have also been streamed many times online, in the form of DJ sets and live acts.
Journalist and publisher. Since 2010, continuously involved with radio. Author of a radio program dedicated to electronic music – „Synteza FM” broadcast on Radio Kampus. Co-founder of duets: Moonlight Resort & Spa (together with Cafe de la Jungle), Mech (together with Mateusz Wysocki), and with Grzegorz Bojanek. All these projects focus on deep explorations at the crossroads of techno and ambient music.
