  • Jamie Loftus (comedian) is BACK and faces a problem that a lot of us do in the podcasting world: having a reply guy that lets you know every week why they're not going to listen to your show anymore, and trying not to let it get to you. Thankfully for Jamie, she catches a block and doesn't have to deal with this particular person anymore. There's a lot of stuff we don't wanna deal with this week as we discuss undecided voters, nepo babies, and we go really deep on Bugaboo Creek, a Canadian-ish themed restaurant with animatronic animals that Jamie loved as a kid. Plus, Jamie hates the new Twitter algorithm, Donald Trump says yet another insane thing, and Elon Musk sets a new precedent with what is probably the worst tweet of all-time.

If you want to hear about more of the worst tweets, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where we talk about a bunch of them! For just $5, you'll get THREE new bonus episodes every single month PLUS you'll get access to our entire back catalogue of over 150 episodes. It's the best! Last week, Becca rejoined the show for a mailbag episode and coming up this week, our good friend Luke Taylor joined us to discuss Canadian CGI cartoon ReBoot. You won't wanna miss it! We also have a Discord, merch discounts, ad-free episodes, and MORE so check it out!

And a reminder we are going LIVE with Top Three Weekend II, October 11th and 12th at the Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver, BC. Our friends at Guys and Not Even a Show are going to join us for 4 shows over two nights, and it's gonna be a blast. Weekend passes and individual show tickets are available now at bit.ly/top3weekend. See you there!

Jamie Loftus is a comedian, author, and podcaster, whose latest project, Sixteenth Minute, is available now wherever you get your pods. You can also follow her on Instagram at @jamiechristsuperstar.

  • Chris Locke (comedian) returns to the show to tell us about hitting his breaking point with TizzyEnt, one of those annoying amalgamators who explains a viral video in a flat monotone for 30 seconds before showing said viral video. He sucks, and we block his ass! And there's a lot of ass talk on this episode because...obviously. It's a Chris Locke episode. We go wild. We discuss Meghan Trainor's side-by-side toilets, hold music, Chris' Edinburgh Fringe Festival experience, bidets, and the Spider-Man musical. Plus, Chris is annoyed at having to do lots of promo, Stefan is annoyed at Dr. Disrespect's "comeback", and past guest Justine Stafford shares a wild rejection story from Edinburgh on her own pod that John couldn't help but sympathize with.

If you want more way more rejection stories, you can head on over to our Patreon and donate to the dang show! For just $5/month, you'll get access to our entire back catalogue PLUS THREE new bonus episodes every month over at patreon.com/blockedparty. This week, Becca joins the show once again to answer YOUR listener questions in our first new Blocked Bag in a few months after we finally cleaned the damn thing out. And it's already dirty again! We also have ad-free episodes, a great Discord, and plenty more, so help us out and donate today!

A reminder that individual show tickets for our live shows coming up this October 11 and 12 at the Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver will be going on sale THIS WEDNESDAY, 9/11, at 10 am PT. Only wanna catch a show or two? This is the way to do it! It'll be us, Guys, and Not Even a Show for 4 shows over two nights, and it'll be the FINAL Blocked Party episode EVER! Well, at least regular episode. It'll be historical and we hope you'll be there to join us for what should be a magical night. Weekend passes are available now at bit.ly/top3weekend, and individual show tickets will be available there too.

Chris Locke is a comedian whose podcast, Evil Men, is available wherever you get your pods. He also stars in a great new comedy movie called "Who's Yer Father?" that you should check out now on Paramount Plus. You can follow him on Instagram at @chrislockefun.

  • Amar Singh (comedian) makes his first appearance on the show to tell us about a time when self-help just went way, way too far and he had to do some blocking to take care of it. Amar is a comedian, but perhaps more importantly, he is John's former student. So we talk to Amar about being in John's class and getting John to book him his first stand-up gig, which has now led to a career in comedy, for better or worse. We also discuss Amar struggling to find a job due to AI, which of course leads Stefan to create some AI Yodas and also show us a nasty picture he found of a really big Nintendo fan. Plus, Amar also loves the sad cat videos we discussed with Libby Watson on our most recent bonus episode, and the Oasis reunion has us revisiting some of their funniest moments of the last decade including Liam Gallagher's meeting with Paul McCartney, his interview with a kindergarten class, and making their own tea.

If you want to hear some more tea, we're spilling it all over the place over at patreon.com/blockedparty! $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every damn month including the aforementioned Libby Watson episode that just came out last week, where John had to do the blocking due to an insane Jeopardy! fan. We also do ad-free episodes, have an exclusive Discord, and MORE!

And a reminder of BP Live! It's Top Three Weekend II with our friends at Not Even a Show and Guys, Bryan Quinby and Chris James! Live at Vancouver's Biltmore Cabaret on October 11 and 12. Weekend passes are available now at bit.ly/top3weekend, and as announced on the show, individual show tickets will go on sale on 9/11 at 10 am PT. Don't miss out!

  • merritt k (writer) joins the show for the very first time to discuss a rare Bluesky block from video game developer and noted weirdo Brianna Wu. Do not assume the moon is or isn't a tactical battleground. In addition to discussing the moon we also discuss Canada, as merritt has moved back home and that leads to talks of Doug Ford's "Buck a Beer" campaign strategy, No Frills commercials, the racist Trader Joe's logos, catnip, and Dan gets in trouble from his landlord, who watched the show on YouTube and saw something he didn't like. Plus, merritt gets in trouble from zoomers for a tweet, JD Vance visits a donut shop, and babies apparently can't say the word popsicle.

If you want a sweet treat, why don't you head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where we have tons of them! For just $5/month, you'll get THREE bonus episodes every single month, plus access to our entire back catalogue, access to our Discord, merch discounts, ad-free episodes, AND MORE! Last week, Lane Moore joined us for another great Word Up! episode about the horrible things happening on Cameo, and this week, Libby Watson triumphantly returns to discuss an insane block John had to mete out after an insane Jeopardy! fan came after him and Emily. Don't miss out!

  • Holy hell! Kick us into a pit, we've reached Episode 300! Nick Wiger (Doughboys) joins us to celebrate almost six years of this show by getting blocked by a right-wing-leaning account for telling them straight up that their hero died jacking off. Thankfully we don't die on this episode as we debut our brand-new theme song (thanks to the wonderful Howell Dawdy) and get into the Despicable Me/Minions franchise, which of course, leads to a wide-ranging Rule 34 discussion. It wouldn't be Episode 300 without it. Plus, Wiger details how a book has helped him mostly quit social media, JD Vance brags that he's starting the new Entourage, and our friend Josiah has some fun with the entire country of Australia thanks to a Bluey tattoo tweet.

If you wanted to get a tattoo of our show...please don't. But! That probably means you are a big fan, and you should maybe think about donating to us over at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month! This week, Lane Moore rejoins the show for another instalment of Word Up!, where we find the worst that Cameo [dot] com has to offer. It's a great time and you won't wanna miss it. We also have ad-free episodes, a Discord, and more, so donate today!

Nick Wiger is a podcaster whose two pods, Doughboys and Get Played, are available now wherever you get your podcasts.

  • Does your underwear smell of poop? If it does, you might be the guy who blocked Chris after an exchange on Twitter borne out of some of the horrible stuff happening in the UK right now. That's right, Chris James (comedian) is finally back on a main episode and we predictably have a lot of fun as we discuss the audio editing of Chris' podcast "Guys", menial jobs, sex underwear, and a weirdo sneaks backstage at a Comedy Bang! Bang! show. Plus, Chris uses an alt account to troll some British nutjobs, Stefan just learns about the Hawk Tuah girl, and Joe Rogan has a brand-new comedy special. Chris also misses a lot of basketball shots.

If you want to MAKE a great shot, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty and donate to the show, because it's all buckets, baby. We've got three new bonus episodes a month. We've got ad-free episodes. We've got our entire back catalogue. We've got merch discounts. We've got a Discord. It's all waiting for you. Last week, our pal Dead Blossom Jesse joined the show to finally finish off all the mailbag questions for our historic 50th Blocked Bag, and next week, we go back to the Cameo well to see what our crazy celebrity friends are up to. Don't miss it!

And of course, we are going LIVE in a couple months' time with Top Three Weekend II! • Sam Burns (comedian) joins the show for the first time to tell us about a hot tip that he received that the Facebook group for the small town of Woodstock, Ontario, was a happening time...and about how he got blocked from that Facebook group. It's a real "remember some times" episode as we discuss X-rated video games, games that are banned from Twitch, Outlaw Golf, Grand Theft Auto, smoking weed in college, and Sam tells us how he randomly ended up seeing the Michael Jackson concert documentary film "This Is It". Plus, Sam gives us an update on his Facebook feed, Republicans are being weird about being called weird, and John relives an old, funny viral tweet.

If you want to relive a bunch of old tweets (and moments) with us, then head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty and support the show! For $5/month, you'll get THREE new bonus episodes every month, PLUS you get immediate access to our entire back catalogue of bonus content, totalling some 200 episodes. What a deal! Last week, Demi Lardner joined us as we attempt to clear out every mailbag question we've ever been asked in our 50th mailbag, and this week, our friend Dead Blossom Jesse returns to help us finish the job. Also: ad-free episodes, merch discounts, Discord access, and MORE! Check it out!

  • Raft (comedian/musician) has returned to the show for another wild ride, as we learn about how they got blocked by the infamous Foodgod, a consort of the Kardashians, who blocked Raft for writing a poem about him. Very rude. The episode, let's be honest, is also rude too, as we discuss napkin bibs, fish sandwiches, our dream fast food meals, night cereal, and yes, poop and Raft's recent top surgery. Plus, we meet a guy whose whole deal is awkwardly singing at celebrities, MLB player Reese McGuire gets called out for jacking off in his car in a Dollar Tree parking lot, and JD Vance is a really huge weirdo.

If you want some more weirdo content, head on over to our Patreon, support the Blocked Boys, and get tons of extra content. One click at patreon.com/blockedparty and you'll have access to THREE bonus episodes every single month, including this month, as we clear out every mailbag question ever asked that we didn't get to on the first 49 mailbag episodes. Racquel Belmonte joined us last week for Part I, and Demi Lardner joins us this week for Part II! It's a doozy! Check it out.

AND we are going LIVE for only the second time ever, and Guys and Not Even a Show are joining us. October 11 and 12 in Vancouver, we'll be live at the Biltmore Cabaret for 4 shows in what promises to be an amazing weekend. Tickets are on sale now at bit.ly/top3weekend.

Raft is a comedian and musician whose new music project, Yellowstar, is online and crushing it over on Instagram at @yellowstarmusic. You can follow Raft there at @caitraft.

  • Howell Dawdy (musician) returns to the show with a familiar tale of getting banned from Twitter for too many DMCA strikes, but what isn't familiar is that many of those strikes came from one source: the rapper Eminem. Howell takes us down a road of terrible mashups and horrible parody songs as we discuss our new theme song, plastic straws, our favorite pies, and we learn about the guy who is in love with his car. Like, sexually. Plus, Howell introduces us to the social director of a Florida golf course, Sammy Hagar loves tornadoes, and a tattoo artist has a bizarre interaction with a potential customer.

If you want to hear more of our bizarre (but great!) interactions, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty and donate to the damn show! Just $5/month gets you THREE bonus episodes every month, including this week, as Racquel Belmonte makes her triumphant return to the show to celebrate our 50th mailbag with a full clean-out of our old, unanswered mailbag questions. There were so many that this is just Part 1! Speaking of old episodes, your donation immediately gets you our entire back catalogue of 150+ episodes, ad-free episodes, and more! So check it out!

Howell Dawdy is a musician and comedian whose latest album, "I Need Some Help" is available now wherever you get your music. "Mexican Coke" is the song of the summer. You can also find him multiple times a week at twitch.tv/bighowelldawdy.

  • Will Weldon (comedian) returns to the show to tell us about the time Jeff Ross blocked him after he clearly name-searched his own name and didn't like what he found. You probably remember why that might be. We remember lots of stuff on this show, including the Oilers and Hawk Tuah girls having their moments, the UK holding their elections, Vancouver's bad mayor, and Stefan and John prepare for their annual hockey pool trip, and Will really hates Bill Maher. Plus, Will gets suspended on Twitter, John is checking in on Book Twitter, and Mikey Miles has a truly horrendous new video.

If you want to see some other horrendous videos (and laugh at them with us), then you can donate to the show at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This past week, Stefan dipped into the archives to share his block by a parody account of the show The Newsroom, and Christine Bortolin came along for the ride. Plus, we have ad-free episodes, merch discounts, and a lot more! Don't delay!

Will Weldon is a comedian whose brand-new podcast, "I Hate Bill Maher", is out now. John has been a guest already and it's a delight. You can follow him on Instagram at @oldmanweldon.

  • Alex Berr (comedian) is probably the smartest guest in the show's history, as she has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering but also has muted just about every person's stories and posts on Instagram that she follows so it restricts her app use. She has "blocked" Instagram. It's impressive, and so is this episode, as John screws a bunch of stuff up, Alex joins a secret society, and Stefan talks about Cuckold Night on Go Off Kings, which leads us to go way deep on gimp masks and weird pet items. Plus, we discuss the carnivore diet, Stefan gives us a Joey update where he has an actually funny tweet, and speaking of tweets, John goes viral for an observation he makes in London and gets Dutchposted.

If you want to learn about Dutchposting and many other brilliant concepts, you can head on over to our Patreon and donate to the show. Help the Blocked Boys, do some learning, it's a beautiful thing. For your $5 donation, you'll get THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, fan fave Christine Bortolin is back on the show discussing the time Stefan got blocked by the guy pretending to be Will McAvoy from The Newsroom on Twitter. We also have ad-free episodes and much more, so check it out!

Alex Berr is a comedian who has a brand new comedy podcast about the cool lives of scientists called Uncontrolled Variables, the first episode of which is out now. You can follow her for information on that and her shows at @al.berr on Instagram.

  • In our first episode with everyone back from vacation, Matt O'Brien (comedian) joins us for a rousing time, as we reconnect and discuss why pre-emptively blocking your landlord is probably a good idea. We also get into turning 40, working at SportChek, the water-skiing/wakeboarding/tubing scene, and John talks about seeing Limp Bizkit in Belfast and meeting Fred Durst. Plus, Matt jokingly asks for a job and then is horrified to learn he might get it, Stefan picks his favorite tweet from the cursed Trump/Biden debate, and John pays tribute to the recently passed lead singer of Crazy Town, Shifty Shellshock.

If you want to be our butterfly, sugar, baby, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty and donate to the show! We'd love it if you did. It's just $5/month and you get THREE bonus episodes every single month, including last week, as John and Stefan did a guestless and producer-free mailbag episode with Dan still in Japan and John recovering from jetlag. It was a fun time! We also have ad-free episodes, a Discord, and more, so check it out!

Matt O'Brien is a comedian who is recording his next comedy album on July 9th at Dynasty Typewriter in Los Angeles. Tickets are available now by clicking right HERE. You can also follow Matt for all his tour dates on Instagram at @mattobrien.

  • Clare Belford (comedian) returns to the show on the last of our pre-tapes before Dan gets back from Japan, and it's a fun one, as Clare blocks any "sexy chat" spam DM she gets invited into but notices one commonality...a fellow comedian showing up in these chats, and subsequently following some of these women. We don't reveal who it is, but you can maybe guess! No guessing about this episode being fun though, as Clare tells us about her new dog (who snores adorably throughout), and we discuss The Leftovers, Clare's dad's dog obedience tips, falling asleep at comedy shows, and our friend DBJ trapped themself in a box. Plus, Clare gets a confusing tax slip, a man gets caught in a court proceeding, and Twiggy owns an interviewer.

If you want something to do that's a lot less confusing than your taxes, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where a simple $5 donation gets you access to our entire back catalogue and THREE brand-new bonus episodes a month. Last week, Sequoia Holmes returned to the show for a Canadian Education episode, as we watched the MuchMusic staple "intimate & interactive" with Canadian legends Our Lady Peace. We also have ad-free episodes, an exclusive Discord, and more, so check it out!

Clare Belford is a comedian who will be at Edmonton's Grindstone Comedy Festival in a couple of weeks from July 3-7. You can follow her for all her other dates on Instagram at @clarble.

  • Emily Heller (comedian) returns to the show to tell us a wonderful story about noticing a print being sold online by a clothing company that was not properly attributed to the artist and it ends up being a strange and beautiful redemption tale–one that also leads to a block. It's a strange and beautiful episode too, as we discuss Emily's emo phase, the new Pop Culture Jeopardy, the butterflies in Emily's garden, and we find a German Limp Bizkit tribute act. Plus, Emily introduces us to the "Gift Ideas" subreddit, John finds a tweet very relatable, and Stefan has one of his worst Social Media Updates of all-time.

If you want to relate to more of our content, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every damn month, including last week, where fan fave Danika Thibault rejoined the show to watch some horrendous Cameos, including one of our most bleak discoveries yet. Plus, you'll get immediate access to our entire back catalogue, merch discounts, ad-free episodes, and MORE!

Emily Heller is a comedian who has a podcast with John about Jeopardy! It is called "What Is...A Jeopardy! Podcast" and it's available now wherever you get your pods. We had Katie Nolan on last week in John's absence, and it was really fun. Check it out! You can also follow her and her garden on Instagram at @mremilyheller.

  • Dave Merheje (comedian) joins the show in-person for the first time to tell us about different blocking patterns with two exes, one of which leads to a very interesting reveal. Dave immediately connects with Dan on the episode as we discuss Dan's can situation, the few times Dave stayed with John over the years, people taking selfies with celebs, meeting fans, expensive train rides, and the Disney Star Wars hotel. Plus, British kids complain about ice cream, Elon Musk wants your family pics on X, Shaq talks that talk to Draymond Green and Jeff Teague explains that the Bucks' victory party wasn't that good.

If you want to attend a much better party, head on over to the one we're having on our Patreon, which is at patreon.com/blockedparty. $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month, including this week, as Danika Thibault rejoins the show to review some terrible Cameos with us in our Word Up! series. We also have ad-free episodes, video bonuses, an exclusive Discord, and more. Plus! Details on how you can save on a ticket to our upcoming Top Three Weekend II with Guys in Vancouver!

  • Rory Dunn (comedian) returns to the show and gets banned from the celebrity gossip subreddit Fauxmoi for making a joke about something happening to America's two likely Presidential candidates. One thing Rory doesn't get banned from is his love of drinking milk, which we find out he's doing a lot of because he is entering a strongman competition. Of course, that sends us down a wild rabbit hole where we spend a ton of time discussing World's Strongest Man and Rory's prep for the competition. Plus, Rory is unhappy with a podcast trying to locate a cool-looking skateboarder from a photo, "Inside the NBA" might be ending, and some guys honk a car horn at golfers mid-swing, and that's never not funny.

You know what else is always funny? Our bonus content! It's only available at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, Randee Neumeyer joined us for a Cullen the Herd episode, where John gets blocked by a stupid Leafs fan. We also have ad-free episodes, merch discounts, an exclusive Discord, and MORE! • Darcy Michael (comedian) returns to the show with a tale of Meta's new AI screwing him over from posting videos and making content because...his profile picture also had his husband and comedy partner Jer in it. Social media in 2024 rocks. It's been a big few years for Darcy since he was last on the show, as him and Jer have been touring all across North America and have seen their TikTok absolutely blow up. We discuss that, Vancouver's elimination from the NHL playoffs, and Stefan and Darcy compare notes on their hair. Plus, a great Goldilocks meme, Dan Snyder gets mad about funding a Trump movie that turns out to be a negative portrayal of him, and we find a great sign in Germany.

If you're looking for a great sign to donate to your beautiful Blocked Boys...this is it! Head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. • Audrey Brehm (Radio Free Tote Bag) joins us for the first time to discuss how she got blocked after a Facebook comments exchange with an EDM DJ about wage inequality. 2012 was simply a different time. We have hell of a time on this episode though, as we discuss our grandparents, working retail, our tortured fandom for the Leafs and Canucks, and Star Wars miniature tournaments. Plus, we talk about c*nty outfits, Michael Cohen talks that talk in court, and former NBA player Glen "Big Baby" Davis waxes poetic on being sentenced to 40 months in prison.

If you don't want to go to prison, then you must donate to support the Blocked Boys at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you THREE bonus episodes every single month. • Myles Anderson (comedian) returns to the show after a 5-year layoff (our fault) to show us what happens when you talk about Tony Robbins on your YouTube channel that analyzes stand-up comedians. Hint: it's not good! We get into a lot of knife talk on the pod, as Myles gets stopped by airport security and we remember some our fondest memories with knives. We also discuss some of our favorite early Flash games, Leisure Suit Larry, BMX XXX, Dan introduces us to Stroker for the Commodore 64, and we check in on the new menu at our ol' top Wisconsin haunt, Every Buddy's Bar and Grill. Plus, Myles fights with a Norwegian, the Edmonton Oilers release a heinous playoff rap, and IMC loves what Grok AI has to offer him with regards to the Drake/Kendrick beef.

If you don't want to have a beef with us, support the show by heading on over to our Patreon at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, Actor Party triumphantly returns, as Mark Chavez runs the Blocked Boys through a Harold Pinter script, complete with British accents. That goes as well as you think. • It's a feed drop! John here. As you may (or may not) know, over the past two years, I have been working on a curling podcast about our sport's biggest ever scandal, Broomgate. (Yes, it's actually called that). It's a cool story filled with niche sports drama, amazing personalities, and narration/writing/producing by me. And as I write this, it is the #1 podcast in Canada. Actually.
We have never posted an episode of anything else in the BP feed, and I respect that this may be a bit weird for some of you, but I just really wanted you to hear this series. I hope you enjoy it. This is the only episode we'll be doing this with, so don't fear that the BP feed will be overrun with curling content. The feed goes back to normal next Monday and will stay that way.
