This week I connect with Steve Garland, head coach of University of Virginia wrestling. He catches up with us on the progress from the season to this point as well as some of the learning moments. He also shares with me some of the behind the scenes things that people don't see or think about when it comes to adjustments made and how guys show that they are coachable. After the interview I focus on some of the top teams in Penn State, Iowa, and Nebraska. I commend their tough upcoming schedules and highlight some of their athletes to watch so far. Rock on.

This week it's just Kevin. He recaps how good Illinois has been this season, as well as some of the action from CKLV. He talks through some of the surprising results, big winners, and where the MSU Open might have been tougher than CKLV. Also, he covers the wins over the weekend for the Virginia Cavaliers, and their upcoming schedule to watch for. Additionally, we finish with an update on CMU wrestling's weekend, and the progress of Little Rock. Lastly we talk Vision Quest and the impact of Ernie's speech.

This week Tommy and Kevin revisit the excitement that was the first week of college wrestling. We start the same way the college wrestling season did, with Wyoming and Campbell. We talk through Virginia's dominant win over NDSU, and some of the action from the Clarion open. This is going to be an awesome season! Get ready for next week in East Lansing at the MSU Open!

This week we have the honor of speaking with Olympic Gold Medalist - Brandon Slay. We talk through his competition career, his experiences as Executive Director and Head Coach of Penn RTC, as well as his athletes. We also talk through some of the rule changes over the years for freestyle wrestling, NIL and RTC implications, Burroughs return, and practice preparation. Prior that that we discuss the additions of Kamal Bey and Frank Chamizo to the Olympics. We also touch on the expanding usage of our logo and namesake.

This week we talk about Columbia hiring Donny Pritzlaff as their Head Coach. Then we dive into an interview with Central Michigan Head Wrestling Coach, Tom Borrelli. We talk through his historic credentials, some of the career highlights, and the National Duals. We also talk through the new coaching staff, some of his other notable D1 coaches from CMU, and we wrap it up by talking about the foundation layers of the program. We also talk through how long it takes to make Casey Cunningham exhausted. It turns out it takes an hour and forty five minutes. Fire Up Chips, and Rock On!

This week we talk through some of the recent moves in the transfer portal as well as on the coaching side. Then we had the chance to speak with Missouri wrestling great Allan Hart. I publicly apologize for a Tweet from Detroit, then we talk through his style, wrestling for Brian Smith and at St. Eds in High School. We also discuss his new gig as a High School coach in Allen Texas. Then we talk through his upcoming wrestling for CLAW, and what we can look forward to with that.

He shared his insight from the event, along with his feelings on how the team has performed in their recent freestyle and greco events.
