  • Hey ARMY! Welcome back to BTS Memories! I dive into the songs "Haegeum " and "AMYDGALA" by Agust D. "Haegeum " explores the struggles about forbidden freedoms. The word Haegeum means lifting a ban or something similar to it. Also, the Haegeum is a Korean Instrument. "AMYDGALA " explores the struggles that Suga faced growing up and the struggles of idol life and his mental health hoping to become free from the darkness that surrounded him and wanting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The amygdala is the part of the brain that deals with emotions and memory, Suga expresses this in the song. Overall, Suga wants to let go of the past and move on and grow stronger from it. Thank you so much for listening, I hope you have a great day and week ahead. See you next time! Thanks, Dangsin-eul Saranghaeyeo~ Em

  • Hey ARMY! Welcome back to BTS Memories! I dive into the songs "Wild Flower" by Rm ft Youjeen and "Set Me Free" by Jimin. "Wild Flower" explores the struggles that RM faces when it comes to fame and success. He wants to stay grounded in who he is and what he loves about music. RM makes reference to a famous metaphor found in many BTS songs, the mask. RM describes how he wants to be free from it and see reality. "Set Me Free" explores Jimin becoming free from the darkness that surrounded him and wanting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, He wants to do it himself and for someone to not do it for him because if someone does it for him it's not going to change anything for him and if he does himself it can change everything. Thank you so much for listening, I hope you have a great day and week ahead. See you next time!

  • Hey ARMY! Today, I discuss "Pandora's Box" & "DNA"( DEMO)! "Pandora's Box" is about J-hope being the one left with hope after everything else is gone. This song talks about how Jhope chose his name for BTS and how he wants to be a light of hope to the members and ARMY.  J-hope expresses how he tried to bring hope even when all was lost. "Pandora's Box" is based on the story of a woman named Pandora who Zeus gave a box but she was told never to open it for reasons disclosed to her. Pandora got very curious and eventually, she opens the box and horrible evils came out such as greed, envy, hate, pain, hunger, war, poverty, and death. Becoming frightened by the evil things she closes the box and hope is the only thing left. Hope is what humans use to survive the wickedness that was let out by Pandora. Moving on, the "DNA" Demo version by Jhope has a very similar meaning to the original by BTS. "DNA" is about how young passionate love is what connects through the fate of DNA. The song is very different from previous songs by BTS. In the demo, the meaning is very similar, mostly the lyrics are talking about the connection of DNA and how it connects to love just like the original. The song is just as amazing as the original but slightly shorter. Thank you so much for listening, I hope you have a great day and week ahead. See you next time!

  • Hey, ARMY! I cannot believe that "BAD DECISIONS" is OUT! It's amazing! "BAD DECISIONS" is about obsessing over a celebrity or crush and wondering if you will be able to see them soon or just being in the moment at the concert. Realized how amazing they are! As Armies, we certainly do this as we care so much for BTS as a whole and the members individually too. For example, Whenever one or all the members are doubting something, We always without a doubt give them positive affirmations to clear their mind(s). We truly care about the members so much as they have helped us in their own ways and being a fangirl is the least we can do for them! Moving on, we do similar acts for crushes, whenever we get the chance to talk or just look at them, etc. "BAD DECISIONS" talks about and explores this deeply to the point where the obsession is even worth it to continue the fantasy of the crush. "BAD DECISIONS" bring thoughts and we can wonder forever about them. Thank you so much for listening, I hope that you have a great day and week ahead. See you next time!

  • Hey ARMY! Welcome Back to BTS Memories! I talk about "Daechwita & Tony Montana", two songs from Agust D's mixtapes "Agust D & D-2"! Daechwita is about Yoongi setting a trap for his haters and talking about the wealth and fame that he achieved and explaining that he worked hard and it was not always easy in the beginning referring to when he worked two part jobs and went to school and BTS's own past when they struggled too much. Tony Montana talks about comparing His wealth and fame to that of Antonio " Tony" Montana a fictional character from " Scarface" in 1983. Agust D explains that getting fame all in your head is not good and that you will just loloseose your mind doing that it's not worth it. He also explains that yes having a lot is nice but having too much of it can lead you in the wrong direction. He also blasts his haters in both songs and He tries to keep the hate from entering his head.

thank you so much for listening, I hope that you have a great day and week ahead. See you next time!

  • Hey ARMY! Welcome back to BTS Memories! Jhope released Jack in the box! The album is amazing! Stream ARSON MV! Today I talk about the meanings behind Arson & More! Also, about the new side of Jhope and why it's interesting and different! J-hope has always been a very happy person and still is, but musically never showed us the darker side of him. Jack in the box discusses  J-hope's thoughts about his career in the past & future and expresses his desire to become a better artist.  Finally, I cover the songs and talk about the meanings behind them! thank you so much for listening, I hope that you have a great day and week ahead. • Hey ARMY! Welcome back to BTS Memories!  I talk about my BTS story and the journey that went to get to feel so safe by their music. I personally have no idea where I would be without BTS! Also, I talk about their upcoming shows in Disney Plus, In the Soop: Friendcation with V and his Wooga Squad and the concert films and the docuseries which I believe comes out next year and I cannot wait for them to be released!   Finally, Jhope released "MORE" a week ago, and it's amazing. The song talks about J-hope's thoughts about how to improve as an artist and the struggles all with it. "MORE" is different than anything that J-hope has released in the past and it changes the perspective on his music and opens the door of J-hope's struggles in life. Thanks so much for listening and hope you have a wonderful week!

    Thanks, Dangsin-eul Saranghaeyeo Em

  • Hey ARMY! Welcome back to BTS Memories! I talk about the collaboration between Jungkook and Charlie Puth in releasing: "Left and Right". "Left and Right" is about an ex-lover that Charlie/Jungkook can't get out of their heads. Saying that the memories keep flowing back and forth every day. I feel like "left and right" is a way to express the fact that it's so hard not to get the people who hurt us in the past and on top of it try to make up with the person and hopefully become good friends. But then trying to forgive them for what they did and not holding grudges against them. In reality, it's our choice about what terms we have agreed with the person. On the brighter side of things, HYBE released a statement talking about J-hope's new album called "Jack in the Box" which is supposed to be released in July 2022, and performing it at ''Lollapalooza" in Chicago, IL. I am so excited for this album to be out! I hope that you are excited as well! Hope y'all have a great day and week ahead and see you guys next time!

  • Hey ARMY! Well, lots of things have happened in the past day! Everyone has been confused as if BTS is going on a hiatus because of the subtitles! So, Jungkook went on V-Live to clear everything up about the "hiatus". Also, the Hybe Ceo released a statement about it and explained what is happening. So in the end BTS is NOT going on hiatus or disbanding, they are going to focus less on group activities and more on solo activities. Also, RUN BTS is coming back! So, all is not lost and I am happy that everything is cleared up. Moving on, I am going to focus on the member's solo music and maybe an occasional BTS lyric breakdown!  Lastly, I'd like to everyone who has supported this podcast and I am truly grateful for the endless support! I would like to thank BTS for everything they have done so far for ARMY and I don't know what we (I) would do without the 7 of you, I (We) love you guys so much and hope that you have a great success with your solo music and endeavors! Thank you so much, BTS!  Hope y'all have a great day and week ahead and see you guys next time!

    Thanks, Dangsin-eul Saranghaeyeo Em

  • Hey ARMY! Well, lots of things have happened in the past day or so. BTS revealed in the "FESTA Dinner" that they are going on a temporary hiatus to pursue solo music and careers. Mostly they are doing this because they have no idea who they are anymore or who BTS is?  They are going to use this time to find themselves and find new stories to tell. I understand that this unforantaly came out of nowhere for us and there are lots of tears to be shed ( including myself ).  However, in light of the darkness, we going to get the solo music that we have waiting for for a  long time. Also, remember that they have helped us in tremendous ways that I can't imagine. They have" been there" for us when we needed them the most. When we needed to find and love ourselves they guided us through, now is ARMY's turn to help them and support them through the trials that they face. Helping them just as they have done for us all these years. We should thank them for everything that they have done for us. With that being said I have no idea where this podcast will go since BTS is on hiatus, I will try to update as necessary to let you about the final decision.  Thanks to everyone who has supported this podcast and I am truly grateful for the endless support! Lastly, I would like to thank BTS for everything they have done and I don't know what I would do without the 7 of you, I love you guys so much and hope that you have great success with your solo music and endeavors. Also hope that you enjoy your time apart but always be the BTS that we know!  Thank you so much, BTS!  Hope y'all have a great day and week ahead and see you guys next time! ( when that happens )

  • Hey ARMY! Happy 9 Years with BTS! It's crazy to realize that it's been 9yrs since BTS's Debut! Today, I dive into their new album Proof and talk about Yet to Come and Born Singer. Yet To Come is about understanding the best moments in life are ahead of us rather than being right in front of us. Even though we have the "Best Moment" in the past but maybe the next one could be more significant and meaningful to us than the previous one. Moving on to Born Singer, one of the rejected songs of the early days of BTS because of vulgar lyrics, etc. Later on, they got permission from composers, etc. This song reminisces from the perspective of the rap line about their trainee days, becoming rookie idols, and all the struggles, etc. that they faced and the journey through. Anyways, Thanks to everyone to listen and supporting this podcast, I could don't do without you ( truly I appreciate it). Hope y'all have a great day and week ahead and see you guys next time!

  • Hey ARMY! I hope you have had a wonderful day and week ahead! This week I dive into Moon and Trivia 轉: Seesaw. Moon is about Jin trying to explain his love for ARMY! Jin talks about how he cares and appreciates us for our support for him. Giving him a reason to keep being K-Pop Idol and pushing through every day.  Trivia 轉: Seesaw is about Suga telling himself or someone else to stop and think about the situation to maybe try to fix it or get out of the relationship. He uses a seesaw as a metaphor to describe it to another person or himself. Reminding us to catch ourselves and look if this relationship or idea is worth it for me to continue or should I end it because of the impacts it has on me and my friend/Gf/bf ( whomever). Always a good to remind yourself about. Anyways, Thanks to everyone to listen and supporting this podcast, I could don't do without you ( truly I appreciate it)! Also, I can't handle how close PROOF is coming and I am super excited about it and you are too!  See you guys next time!

    Thanks, Dangsin-eul Saranghaeyeo Em

  • Hey Army, Welcome back to BTS Breakdown, I hope you have had a wonderful day and week ahead! This week I look at Answer Love Myself and Interlude Shadow, two songs that deal with self acceptance and worth towards yourself. Answer Love Myself talks about finding and longing for self love and acceptance and worth. Realizing that what society draws upon us is not the right answer of how we should look and dress and instead we should be ourselves and not what society etc says. Loving yourself does take a while as its a journey towards feeling confident in yourself. So don't beat yourself up if it takes a while trust me it will come, also remember that all the BTS and Army did it and are continuing to love themselves. Moving on to Interlude: Shadow , one of Suga's solo songs from Map of the Soul 7 album. Interlude Shadow is about Suga's journey and struggles through fame, hard work, and self acceptance. Understanding that being famous is very hard and takes a tole on you and that having it all may be reversed and you might have nothing. Also alluding to those who have it all don't understand the hard work that some people put in for the fame ( a reference to BTS's debut and Suga's past).

    Thanks, Dangsin-eul Saranghaeyeo Em

  • Hey Army! I hope that you have enjoyed your week!  I choose two motivational and break-free songs: "Anpanman & Dionysus'. Through many inspirations, meanings, lyrics, and the view the songs each song have lots of emotion, dedication, love, and motivation. Anpanman displays BTS trying to protect people from horrible people as BTS as the hero.  Showing us that their music is a way for us to see how they have helped Armies in their hardships. "Dionysus" conveys BTS's message about being celebrities and how they want to let societal practices roll off their backs. Explaining that the celebrity job is not what is it cracked up to be. Recognizing their hard work throughout their careers as artists and Kpop idols. Assuring us that they have success through the hard work that they put in. Hope you enjoy this episode and I had fun creating it. Hoping to bring lots of love and hope to y'all through this and BTS! Please let me know which song is your favorite and favorite lyrics too!  See you next time on BTS  Breakdown! Quick Shout out to everyone who has listened to this podcast and continues to listen to it, I cannot thank you enough.

  • Hey  Army! I hope that you have enjoyed your week!  I picked one emotional song and one friendships song:  Filter and Friends". I go through many  inspirations, meanings, lyrics, how people view the songs  each of these songs has so much to give to Army with so much emotion,  dedication, love, motivation. Filter, displays hardships of a fake fans  and the results of their actions causing Jimin to rethink his appearance  etc. Also how in the end that real Armies show how they love Jimin for who he is etc. and all the many hardships in life that Jimin faced etc. Also the metaphor about social media platforms and how we always attempt at altering our appearance instead of the true appearance of ourselves.  "Friends", is about Jimin and V talking about their friendship from the past and the present within the ups. downs, troubles etc. Also they mention about their friendship completely changed them for the better.  Ovwer all both of these songs shows us that having good friends can make us a better person and that using social media can have negative effects on us.Causing us to have self doubt etc. In the end we should try love ourselves and love the BTS Members for who they are and not what we want them to look like.  I hope you enjoy this episode! I had fun making it. I hope to bring lots of  love and hope to y'all through this and BTS! Please let me know which  song is  your favorite and favorite lyrics too!  See you next time on BTS  Breakdown!  Quick Shout out to everyone who has listened to this   podcast and continues to listen to it, I cannot thank you enough.
