Episode #60 with Kenzie McGowan. Kenzie is long-time friend of mine and is one of the most positive and friendly humans out there. Kenzie joins me in the kitchen studio to chat about Astrology.
I sent Kenzie my birth info and we review my charts while talking about the origins of Astrology, horoscopes, how star signs relate and how to read your charts. It was wild to hear what my charts reveal and how it relates to life. We talk about free will, choices, luck and a bunch of other cool stuff. At the end Kenzie does a quick 3 card tarot reading. Yikes. I ask about my life span, finding true love and I think something about finances.
Sounds like I need to focus on a few things.
It was great to catch up and chat!
Thanks for stopping by, Kenzie!
And, as always, thank you to the watchers and the listeners!

The Catching Up Over Pickles and Bubly EP with Adam Levitt #55. My good friend Adam stops by to catch up. He is one of the Casual OG guests and a good hang. We catch up on life since no longer being housemates. We talk about Whistler and some of the dumb things going in this town (Big Bus Stop and Big Washroom Money), the terms Yeet, Simp and Ship (words being used by the kids these days), a few movie reviews, concerts we've been to, some crazy shit going in the world in general, food, and he brings me homemade dill pickles. They are dope picks.
Thanks for stopping by Adam! Great hang.

Dr. Teresa Wood MD. BA. (Sexual Medicine Doctor and Sex & Intimacy Coach) joins me for EP #53.
Dr. Teresa has been working with youth, adults and seniors around issues of sex, intimacy, sexuality, and gender for over 2 decades. She has taught workshops all over Canada and the US which are designed to help increase awareness about needs, desires, bodies, feelings, thoughts, hang-ups, fear, frustration, ecstasy, emotion, spirituality, sensitivities, and sexiliciousness of a topic she finds far from taboo: SEX (I copied and pasted this from Teresa's site 🤫)
I wasn't sure how this chat would go at first. My own shyness around these topics quickly vanished as the conversation went on. Teresa has a way of breaking through with an obviously well informed and professional way of talking while making sure to keep it light hearted and honest. This was another one of my favourite podcasts.
Thank you for taking the time, Teresa! Can't wait to have you on the show again!
As always thanks to those who dig what I'm doing.

Dave Petko joins me for EP #52. Dave is a long time Whistler local (nearly 30 yrs) who owns Black Ohm Tattoo shop down in Function Junction, the OG tattoo shop in town. He is as well known for his art as he is for his tattoos. We talk about how he ended up in Whistler and how he came to be the owner of Blackcomb Tattoos. He's showcased his art all over Whistler, with showings at almost every festival Whistler has had since he arrived, as well as in Vancouver. We talk about his inspiration, the evolution of his art and ink work, early Van life, his time at Toad Hall Studio way back, and bunch of Whistler History. Dave is one of the friendliest guys around and I think we just cracked the surface of his history and stories he has to tell. I hope there will be a next time.
This is one of my favourite podcasts to date.
Thank you for stopping by, Dave!

This is EP #50 and it is a little different. It is a short one with just me telling a story about how a homeless man and a prostitute made for one the strangest events in my life... so far.
There are people who struggle with addiction and/or illnesses that consume their lives. This not about making light of anyone who may be suffering in life and cannot find the support or resources they need while the system fails them again and again. This is a story of how my belongings were stolen from my hotel room by two people who must have had one wild night and how I ended up getting my stuff back.
Take care out there and I hope you enjoy this one.
Thank you for listening or watching.

Back with a late start to 2023 after a long pause since March. Getting back into this podcast thing and started with my good buddy Ty to talk shit about last year and this year, kinda.
Don't pay more than $20 for pitcher of beer, sneak your own booze in.
A good amount to talk about. If I ever get the video file to be un-fucked, I'll get it posted on YT. For now the audio version is King!
Thanks for joining, Ty!
Find it on Spotify and iTunes as well.
Thank you for listening.

Let me start off by addressing the lip smacking. I wanted to re-record this because I wasn’t happy with the lip smacking the first time around. Welp, here we are on round two and we both proceeded to make that annoying noise again, so fuck it.
Here is EP #46 with my bro, Proctor. This is as casual as it gets. We are in Costa Rica, it is hot, he is living here, I’m mooching. I’m happy I got to spend time chilling with him and his fam for a month. The roosters are insane.
Enjoy if you want, or don’t enjoy if you don’t want. Fine with me.
Thanks, big bro! And thanks for all of those who do enjoy! Nice work out there.
You can find this on Spotify and iTunes, etc... Just search my name and add Casual.

This is EP #45 with Pete Thompson. We drink a few beers and chat. We talk about the brief history of my Podcast, grocery store social problems, what groceries say about you, what only buying TP says about you, spices, how funny and not funny falling down the stairs is, would you consume Bull semen for $100,000, or try for a $1,000,000 if you had to get it yourself first? There is a bit about the stampede in there and some other stuff. All very funny.

Breakfast is also a big deal in Whistler and the discussion about who has the best breakfast wrap (and to some, burrito) is a long standing issue. Might not be talked about much, but this matters. Also, Whistler food shops, please decide if what you have is a wrap or burrito.
Anyway, we review Moguls, Alpine Cafe, Mount Currie (Whistler) and Delish Cafe in Function.
Hope you enjoy.

This is Angela Percival and this is EP #44. Ange is the staff photographer at Arc'teryx and has been at for like 15 years(?). I met Ange in 2011 when I started working there and we were commuting buddies for a few years. Ange has been around the world for work and travel and we talk all about it. We talk about her inspiration, being meaningful and what role we all play in life, and what our contribution means to the world around us. She tells me how she watched her home town burn down around the family home while visiting her family back in Australia. We also discuss what being home really means and a bunch more. It was great and I really enjoyed catching up. We talk photography, too.
Thank you for the time, Ange and I look forward to our next chat or pedal or ski...
Thanks as always for those who listen or watch. Everyone of you count and I appreciate it!
