  • On this show, we’ve discussed a plethora of crucial topics in the social and digital world. Branding, marketing, strategy, influencers - all the good stuff. But, let’s get a little personal. We need to talk about online culture. And, more specifically, how we’re presenting ourselves, and our lives, on the web. With social media, has come, what many view as, ‘oversharing’. We see it on Instagram, we see it on Facebook. A place that it inhabits most frequently, however, is YouTube. AKA, the modern-day television.

We’re following people that are documenting - I mean, vlogging - their everyday lives for us. We’re seeing the inside of their apartments, their relationship with their partner, their vacations. We’re watching videos titled ‘Why we broke up’, or ‘My Biggest Secret’. It’s like everyone has their own reality show. But is oversharing a good thing? Is oversharing really just another word for being authentic and real? Should everyone be unfiltered online? Let’s break this topic down, and see whether this kind of engagement with social media is actually positive and whether there really is such a thing as ‘oversharing’.

  • Understanding one's audience is key to any company's success. Millennials are a HUGE demographic that many recent tech startups market to, and it is imperative for these companies to have a deep understanding of the generation to do this effectively.

Clickbait is a podcast that takes complicated internet information and condenses it down to easily digestible dialogue for the everyday Aussie.

Listen, we know you care about technology. If you’re anything like the average Australian, you spend roughly $2,400 a year of your tech devices. And once you have them in your hands, you’ll spend about 7 hours a day swiping, and liking, and trolling, and reading, and watching, and… you get the point!

The moral of the complicated story is: You use it. But how much do you really know about it?
