  • Hello everyone and welcome back to Episode 15 of the Crag Chat Climbing Podcast. Today I have my friend Andy Moss on to talk about her summer job as a climbing ranger in Devil’s Tower, as well as what it’s like to be a setter, & a little bit about how she learned to climb. I had some technical difficulties with the recording of this episode, so y’all unfortunately missed hearing about Andy’s love for photography, how to be a supportive climbing partner & how grateful I am for her help filming The Breakfast Burrito video, but that just means we will have to do another episode in the future. Enjoy!

  • Hello everyone and welcome back to Episode 14 of the Crag Chat Climbing Podcast. Today I have local Pittsburgh climber & photographer, Tara Bennett with me chatting about an amazing trip to Red Rocks, how she got into photography, climbing with her kids, what motivates her in climbing & most importantly, why her & her friends keep screaming "it's a bad pan!" at each other. Tara agreed to be on the podcast with less than a 48 hour notice & I really appreciate her willingness to come chat. Fun fact, I am a really big hugger, & when I moved to Pittsburgh, I was very much going through hug withdrawal cause I didn't know anyone here. One day Tara came over to me at the gym & gave me a hug & it made my whole month. It's the little things y'all.

Hannah is a Pittsburgh based climber who has been climbing for a little under a year. In this episode we talk about solo climbing sessions, climbing as a creative endeavor, and how climbing has helped Hannah become physically and mentally stronger so that hopefully she can crush in a future season of our mutual obsession, the reality TV show Survivor. This conversation with Hannah flowed so naturally that you'd think we had been friends for years even though we only met a couple of months ago, & I really enjoyed getting to know more about her life & perspective of climbing. • Hello everyone and welcome to Episode 7 of the Crag Chat Climbing Podcast. I’m Courtney, a climber living in Ohio. Today I got the chance to sit down with Kaya Lindsay, a climber, writer, filmmaker, and photographer whose work and attitude towards life I have admired from afar for years. Kaya and I chat about the most scared she’s ever been on a route and her current projects in both climbing and the creative world. We chat about the process of writing her first book, the value and struggle of finding good climbing partners, and the ways in which alcohol has played a role in our lives. We also talk a bit about the time she spent climbing in Vedavoo and her resulting short film, Girls Gone Wide, that details that period. It was so freaking cool getting to talk to Kaya and I hope you enjoy listening to this episode even half as much as I enjoyed making it. Huge thanks to Kaya for being on!
