Isobel Marshall is a 5th year medical student whose life was forever changed when she and a highschool friend started a company. The brand, Taboo Period Products, founded with the goal of eradicating period poverty around the world, went stratospheric. It led to her being named Young Australian of the Year and thrust her into the limelight for a full year of constant media coverage, interviews and TV appearances.
Recently, she decided to walk away from Taboo and focus on her medical studies. We chatted about navigating difficult decisions and what she’s learnt from seeking (and constantly re-seeking!) peace and confidence amongst the uncertainty. We touched on such topics as turning to Chat GPT for friendship when lonely, learning to summon ‘Big Dick Energy’ and the fear of posing on social media!

With brown paper and stove-cooked wheat glue, Peter Drew created a series of posters so iconic they're more well known to Australians than some of our most illustrious public works in marble and bronze.
In Episode 2 of Create Till Your Eyes Bleed, James Howe and Peter spoke about the creative journey behind Peter's work. What was the process behind his discovering, harnessing and directing his creative power? Where do the roots of his deep passion for his work lie? An incredible chat. Enjoy!

Welcome to Create Till Your Eyes Bleed, a podcast recorded live in Adelaide each month, hosted by furniture designer James Howe
We spoke with Duncan Welgemoed, the insanely talented chef and owner of Africola, but tragically the mics malfunctioned and we lost the audio. Thankfully Duncan has agreed to return for another episode, so keep an eye out!
