  • Do we need God or can we be our own gods and do anything what we want? What does God have to say about the Law of Attraction, Buddhism, psychedelics, hypnosis, the occult, tarot, past lives, energy healing, and all the new age spiritual practices? That's the life Amy and Ed lived before knowing God intimately. They thought: since so many people had real experiences with these practices, these spiritual practices must hold some truths, right? God gave Ed and dream, and told him otherwise. Find out what happens next on this episode of Drunk On God.

    Scripture reference:
"Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. And they counted up the value of them, and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver." Acts 19:19

He was about to pass by them, but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said, "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." Then he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down. They were completely amazed," Mark 6:49-52

  • Will I ever see them again? This is the question we ask when someone we love pass away. Growing up atheist, Amy never knew the love of God. Instead, her void was filled by the love from her grandpa, but it was taken away quickly after he passed away. For 11 years, Amy tried not to think about the past, until she finally asked a psychic about his whereabouts... which miraculously led her right into God's heart. Join us on this episode to experience what it means to trust God, even when our loved ones are taken away too soon.

    Scripture reference:
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:30-31

  • Have you found true love? When Amy and Edmund started dating, Amy thought she's found the love of her life, but then... Edmund said, "I'm not sure I know love." We would think that by the time they had a baby, Edmund would feel differently, yet, nope! Still confused about love. What does our culture teach us about love? Is it truly unconditional? Or is it more about lust, feeling needed, and comparing ourselves to others? Join us on this episode to dive deep into why dating, marriage, children, and family still fall short to the love that God reveals in His greatest gift of all: Jesus!

    Scripture reference:
"Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, it is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

"Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.” Matthew 7:24-27

  • Would you hand your phone to a homeless man to browse YouTube during COVID? Edmund didn't plan on doing that, but one thing led to another. He ended up giving this homeless man more than a phone. Join us on this episode to see how an attorney and a mom went the second mile to experience God's love on the streets right in their own backyard.

    Scripture reference:
"If anyone want to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away." Matthew 4:40-42

  • It's Friday! It's date night! Would you dash off work or... stay behind because God nudged you to call someone back? Obeying a God who you can't visibly see or sometimes audibly hear sounds crazy. Yet, a seemingly small act of obedience could set of a chain of events to reignite faith in a lawyer, a dying man, a lonely old lady and a lukewarm-Catholic mom. Catch how this all unraveled by joining us on this episode of Drunk on God!

    Scripture reference:
"Jesus replied, ‘Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching.'” John 14:23
