  • ”The thing that we like, really, is to include poetry in life of people or include some thing that they don’t expect, like things that can open some other perspectives in daily life.”

Dive into the world of architectural creativity with the Portugal based duo Ana Baptista and Hugo Dourado.

Their office is called Colectivo Mel which translates to 'Collective Honey' in Portuguese, but it signifies more than just a name; it embodies their philosophy of fostering movement, inclusivity, and liberation in architecture.

I lived in their beautifully refurbished apartment in Porto for almost a year and can tell you first hand that this is felt throughout their work.

Ana and Hugo believe that our environments influence human interaction and thinking, and use their work to stimulate dialogue and a sense of belonging in the global community.

Discover how they solve problems with creative solutions and an artistic touch, that make the outcome unique and inspiring while also keeping the heritage of the project alive.

  • “Art is something that opens up to the poetry of living.“

This quote comes from Ivo Cotani and you can hear it in it’s context in today’s episode. Ivo is an Italian visual artist specializing in performance and painting.

Artistry is a way to express yourself and in this conversation we’re talking about artistic living.

Ivo found that an artistic expression beyond words was easier for him than how we are most used to communicate.

That, together with a realization that a 9-5 job would not work for him, he chose to create a professional lifestyle based on his art.

We talk about how art and creativity connect to life and living, and how it can be a doorway to be more of yourself in your life.

    Covered in the episode:

There is not a right path in art. It’s just you and YOUR path A historic perspective that busts the myth of the starving artist. You can live a thriving life on your art Art invites you to always be more of you How the masters back in the days painted artworks that seem to be eternal It’s not the technique that makes a masterpiece, it’s how willing you are to be truthful with yourself The more you see that art is an exploration the easier it will be

  • In Episode 3 we get to meet our magic through Human Design!

My guest today is Kiera Doyle (@meetingyourmagic) who is a Human Design reader. She’s living outside New York and this episode is a mix of her personal story as well as an in depth introduction to Human Design.

Human Design can be described as an astrology reading mixed with a Myers Briggs personality test (on steroids!). It’s an actionable way to get more aligned and understanding the energetics of who you are and your way of interacting with the world.

What if life can happen for you and with you instead of against you?

Kiera explains how you can use the information from Human Design to meet your own magic, so you can flow with life as your most authentic self.

Her love language with Human Design is to break complex systems into simple and tangible action steps. So if you’ve found this method overwhelming but interesting, then this conversation might ease you into your own knowing with this!

    Covered in the episode:

    - Overview in how to read a Human Design chart

    - Quite much on what my personal chart looks like hehe

    - Using Human Design to embrace your authenticity with ease

    - Kiera’s experiences from growing up in rural Rhode Island, to moving to New York and now creating her dream life in a beautiful beach town in Connecticut

    - Intro to the five archetype energy types: Manifestor, Generator, Manifesting Generator, Projector & Reflector

    And much more!

  • This episode will be in Swedish!

In today's episode I got to have a conversation with my friend Emmelie Eliasson who is a yoga teacher, space holder and spiritual coach! She is a powerful one. I've witnessed how much she has blossomed the past years and when I was spending a weekend with her and some friends where she got to talk in detail about some things she's been going through in her life, I wondered why I had never heard that before. The first thing I thought was: "More people need to hear this."

More people need to witness that it is possible to go through physical and mental traumas and blossom as a result of it.

As we mention in the episode we both find it very important to not get stuck in the story or an identity of the past. Instead we want this to be an invitiation for you or someone you know that might be in a similar situation to know that IT IS POSSIBLE to change and to grow into a greater life experience. You do not have to be a victim to your life situation and I hope that the conversation with Emmelie can inspire you to see the possiblities where there has only been challenges before.
