Shifting towards electric mobility does not have to involve getting rid of traditional gas-powered cars and purchasing new electric vehicles. A solution can be found in converting existing vehicles to electric. Consumers who prefer their current gas-powered cars can opt for retrofitting, where the car is converted into electric. Dean Kneider's RiiSE EV company specializes in converting muscle and sports cars into electric vehicles.
Together with host Ken Hendricks, Kneider discussed the environmental impact of car conversions, along with the benefits of keeping older vehicles on the road longer through conversion, as well as challenges such as government regulations, consumer skepticism, and more.

In this episode, we are busting the myths and misconceptions about electric vehicles: "EVs do not have the battery range to travel as far as people need. The electrical grid cannot handle the demand required to charge an electric car. Batteries cannot be recycled and will all end up in landfills. There are not enough charge points to meet demand. It takes too long to charge an EV..."
You may notice this episode is unconventional as your podcast host Ken switches his role for a guest speaker this time to set the record straight on a number of EV misconceptions and common myths.
