In this episode, Michael Sprintz, DO, DFASAM, and Tia, a patient and advocate, talk about their experiences with opioid use disorder, pain, and the road to recovery. This podcast aims to differentiate opioid dependency from opioid use disorder, decrease the stigma of opioid misuse, and encourage those affected by it to seek treatment. In this episode, Michael Weaver, MD, DFASAM, provides information on both nonpharmacologic and pharmacologic treatment options for patients with opioid use disorder.
