When it comes to choosing your aesthetic treatment (surgical or non-surgical), it can feel a bit like Tinder; swiping left and right over highly edited images from a huge portfolio of 'expert' practitioners, to find your perfect match. But just as we know how disappointing your date so often is in real life, so too do you risk underwhelming and even downright-dangerous results by taking a non-expert approach to treatment choices.
Enter Olivia Falcon, former beauty editor at Tatler, architect of the Tatler Cosmetic Surgery Guide and now the founder of The Editor's List. Think of it as your expert aesthetic concierge service. It takes the guesswork out of finding the safest hands and most skilled practitioners in the business.
Today, Olivia is giving us her expert view on the changing face of the cosmetic industry, both in the UK and across the pond in the States. She'll discuss everything from trending treatments to risk factors, and why you should never treat cosmetic habits like your handbag habits - instead, think "less, but better". This episode is all about arming you with the knowledge to make savvy, sensible, and safe decisions for natural and effective results.

You know what you're going to get at McDonald's - some immediate satisfaction perhaps, but long-term you'll probably be left feeling a bit grim. Well, in the world of anti-wrinkle injections, it's very much the same (meal) deal.
Arguably the most popular aesthetic treatment, this procedure is widely available - from the back of your nail salon to your hairdresser's waiting area. But here's the catch: if you want to avoid looking perma-surprised, frozen or just plain weird, it's essential to understand how this treatment works, and more importantly, that the practitioner treating you does.
So today, we're talking toxin truths - how to ensure natural results, the risks of overdoing it and why a Michelin-starred approach to muscle relaxing is really the best way to go.

There's no denying the transformative effects of a professional brow treatment; shaped just right, they'll frame your features while adding structure and definition to your face. But you only have to step onto the tube to see the victims of 'over-doing it' (think two fat sausages sitting atop your eyes) or having 'under-done it' (the 90s plucking era, we'll never forgive you).
Luckily, we have The Queen of Brows, Suzanne Martin, creator of the Couture Brow ™️ and the artist behind most of the A-listers' arches, with us today, to talk us through what it really takes to enhance your individual beauty by creating the perfect, eye-opening and symmetry-centric eyebrow.
Tweezers and brow pencils down - this is the real 'Brows 101'.
About Our Guest: Suzanne Martin, creator of the Couture Brow, has an esteemed history as a makeup artist (working in-house at Christian Dior, no less) and is now recognised as the leading authority in eyebrow artistry. Working exclusively at the Lanesborough Club & Spa, Suzanne has a star-studded clientele thanks to her stellar reputation for creating beautiful and only ever natural-looking results. You can see some of Suzanne's fantastic work on her Instagram channel: @suzannemartinaesthetics.

It's more common to have an uneven skin tone than not. Regardless of your skin colour, dark spots and patches can appear on any part of the face and body. This is referred to as hyperpigmentation - think of it as your skin's way of keeping a diary of your adventures (such as sun-soaked holidays, scarring moments and pregnancy journeys). While it's common, many people find it problematic.
So, as summer gives its last hurrah, I'm sharing my Pigmentation Playbook. It's designed to get you clear on the types of hyperpigmentation you may (or may not) have, outline the approach to treating this tricky skin concern, and explain why taking a 'stepladder' approach might be your best bet in the quest for a bright and even complexion.

We're flashing our hazard lights today as we face an unsightly side of aesthetics - the risks of certain procedures, the red flags you need to watch out for, and Salima's and my own experiences with treatments gone wrong (think scars, swelling, and IV antibiotics - it ain't a pretty picture).
While many aesthetic treatments are highly effective when performed by experienced and highly qualified practitioners, there are some I personally would avoid at all costs, and in this episode, you'll discover why three particular procedures have made it onto my hit list.

Got a gut feeling? Well, today it's all about why you actually 'do' need to listen to it, because as Nutritional Therapist Andy Daly explains, it's the organ that most determines your overall health, skin included.
The Sugar DoctorTM shares some unsavoury truths about sugar and its inflammatory impact on the body, sets us straight on pre-, pro-, and postbiotics, skin supplements, and why our stools may well hold the answers to our health concerns.
We're also tackling the rise of histamine issues, from the strangest and most severe symptoms to the foods to avoid if you're struggling with intolerance, as well as the youth-preserving power of boiling and steaming our food and why we should all be thinking a little more Japanese.
About our guest:
Andy Daly calls herself the “Sugar Doctor” ®️ because she believes most health issues arise in the gut, where refined sugars cause havoc.
She initially qualified and practised as a lawyer for many years, but later decided to change her career path to focus on her passions of diet, health and wellbeing.
Andy is a registered nutritional therapy practitioner. She is also a member of the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT), and is registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). She practices at the Dr. David Jack Belgravia Clinic as well as running her own private practice.

When it comes to our faces, the nose takes center stage. So, it's little wonder that so many of us (me included) may feel more than a bit nosey about the options available to improve our hang-ups over nose bumps (technically known as dorsal humps), wide and flaring nostrils, or downward-pointing tips.
In this episode, you'll get the skinny on the rise of non-surgical rhinoplasty treatments – an aesthetic tweakment that could correct your nose woes in as little as 5 minutes, without the downtime, risk, and expense that surgery holds. I'm taking Salima through the nitty-gritty details of what a non-surgical nose job entails, along with who it's suitable for, its limitations, and why rhinoplasty is probably the surgery with the highest level of dissatisfaction.
