In this episode Carolyn and Paul explore the WikiTree Help Center. WikiTree is a very large family tree platform which allows you to build your family tree while integrating your family tree with a "Global" tree. Because this is a very large platform, you may need assistance from time to time. That is where the Help Center comes in. By the way - did we mention this platform is independent and FREE?

We got so carried away with doing our podcast - we forgot to introduce ourselves! Sorry. So, this is a brief introduction to who we are - Paul Edwin Hendee and Carolyn Lancaster.
-
Every once in a while on our genealogical adventure, we come across something new and interesting. This session is about something I, Paul Hendee, found on the internet while doing a Google search.
Ancient faces is an ancestor image sharing platform on the internet. As you tell the story of an ancestor whose photo you have posted you actually begin to build a family tree with all of the people that person is connected to. The website, http://ancientfaces.com has been around for about 20 years. They have great tech support if needed and a YouTube video training channel. I suggest you give them a try. The site is great for sharing and involving family members in your genealogical quest.
Enjoy,
Paul

This is all about Memorial Day. A day when we think about those who have given their lives in the name of freedom for our great country, the United States of America. Many times people confuse this day with Veterans Day. Always remember: Al gave some - Some gave all. This is about those who gave all.
So, enjoy a picnic or a beach party today. Monday, take a minute around 3:00 P.M. wherever you are and think about our fallen. Also, at the end of this podcast, is a special tribute to those brave men and women.
Enjoy,
Paul & Carolyn -
