Not being too versed in her music besides the radio hits, both Ted and Justin dove into researching her numerous studio albums including; her work collaborating with Tony Bennett and the soundtrack from the film "A Star is Born", among her other albums.

Robbie Robertson, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel, Rick Dankol started out as the back up group for several different groups, but would evolve into he most talent and respected group of musicians of their time, even becoming the subject of a Martin Scorsese film 1979's the Last Waltz!

This time around Ted & Justin are discussing the extensive catalogue of The artist Prince.
With more than 32 albums, and fabled to have written a new song every day this is sure to be a daunting task.
What we found out is that Prince not only preformed and wrote may great songs on his own but also wrote many famous songs for other artists.
Not to mention an Academy Award, Golden Globe and legendary performance at the 2007 SuperBowl that is lauded as the greatest ever!

This is based off a conversation that Ted and Justin has on Justin's show The Fan-tastic podcast all about Metallica. This was basically the idea for the show itself, so rather than retread old ground, we decided to just release that episode here so you can enjoy our discussion about one of our favorite Bands, Metallica!
This does come out prior to the release of Metallica's 2023 Album "72 Seasons" so we did not include any tracks on the Playlist from the new album.
