The Father loves to bless us, loves to give us gifts and blessings and favour. Why? Because he loves us. He is a good Father who delights in pouring out blessing on his children.

There are many circumstances in life that might make it difficult to feel God. It might be through a season of grief and loss, a change in circumstances that you didn’t foresee or even mental illness.
The good news is that what you feel doesn’t change what is true. You can rest on the promises of God who is omnipresent. There will be moments in the life of every follower of Jesus when you have to decide what you believe about God even when you can’t feel him. Where you lean on his character through all situations.
We're also joined by a very special guest for 'Proverb Schmoverb'.

Intimacy through Busyness. Busyness has become a major marker of our generation. We are flat out, at capacity and often on the edge of burnout. However, there is a misconception that busyness equals productivity, importance and meaning. Our lives have therefore become a competition about who is busier. But in reality, busyness is simply noise that is taking away from our most important relationship.

Welcome to the Generation Podcast!
This week we look at the idol of community. We often overlook or are unable to see how community can take the place of God in our lives. We are created to be in community, however sometimes we value this over growing our relationship with our Heavenly Father. Join us as we explore and work through this idol.

Welcome to the Generation Podcast!
This week we look at the idol of approval, for us the most prevalent in our own lives and likely one of the driving forces of our culture. Idolising approval robs us of a proper experience of God's love for us, and stops us from searching the heart of God and seeing ourselves as Christ does. Why does criticism crush us, why do we never feel good enough, smart enough, pretty enough? It's likely a misplacement of approval. In order to have renewal in our generation, it must start in our own hearts. In order to seek the face of God and enjoy him, we need to give up seeking the approval of people, and start realising who our heavenly Father says we really are. And only then will we have true joy.

Welcome to the Generation Podcast!
In this episode we explore one of the most prevalent idols in our generation. Seeking and worshipping a ‘Counterfeit Jesus’ has been present within God’s people for centuries. Join us as we discuss how this looks in our society, our lives and why a dynamic relationship with the authentic Jesus is the only thing that will ultimately satisfy.
