Hello! This week, I'd like us to focus on being realistic in our pursuit of financial freedom.

Often, we compare our journeys to those of people who have been in business for much longer than we have, which drives us to set goals for our business that are simply unattainable within the timelines we set and/or the experience we have to achieve them. This can lead to disappointment even when we believe we've done everything right but still fall short of our goals.

In this episode, we'll explore some easy ways to set achievable financial goals for your new business.

In today's episode, I share my strategies for building your fund or safety net so you can get into your business fulltime asap.

  • I can’t stress enough when I say, 'Being an entrepreneur can change your life for the better.'

  • Can I share a little secret with you, something I recently discovered?

I've come to realize that I'll never feel completely prepared for those significant moments in life, and you know what? That's perfectly fine. In fact, I believe it adds a deeper sense of meaning and grandeur to those occasions. This revelation hit me when I took on the role of a celebrant at my friend's wedding a few weeks ago. Initially, I didn't feel entirely ready for the responsibility, but I chose to fully embrace it.

I refused to let anything hold me back; I dove headfirst into the task and did everything necessary to ensure her wedding became a truly wondrous celebration of love.

I learned that starting before you feel ready can help you overcome fears and doubts, build momentum, and seize exciting opportunities in both your career and personal life. The truth is, those big moments don't wait for anyone.

If you wait around until you feel completely ready, you might miss out on the magic!

Join us on the latest episode of the Get Confident podcast and learn how to seize every moment!

We're celebrating a new skill I've learned and applied by being the celebrant for my friends wedding! If you or someone you know is getting married and you'd like me to be your celebrant, check out more info here.

    2) Skills - knowledge is nothing without action.
    3) Connection - your network is your net worth.
    4) Resources - what's available to you and your cause.

  • Welcome to what I think is a transformative episode of the “Get Confident" podcast. Today we're diving (pun intended) into leaps of faith.

We'll talk about fighting that voice inside your head — that tells you to stay where you are, don’t get yourself hurt, or take the easy path. I’ll share about my own experience of doing exactly the opposite of what that voice says, leaving the "comforts" of my full-time job in order to go into my own business full-time.

Risk was present when I jumped.

And will be present too when you're faced with whether or not you should take your own leap of faith. I'll share how I turned those unknowns, into calculated risks, and eventually reaping the rewards on the other side. You'll also learn about how to come up with an MVP (minimum viable product) for your business, setting up your support system, and of course, finding your WHY for it all.

Tune in now to join our journey of self-discovery and empowerment as we step boldly into the unknown with open arms and an eager heart to be great!
