Our third podcast guest will be the one and only LUCY HEATH, actor, writer and producer of the Tribeca selected PRAGMA SHORT FILM!
This industry is full of rejection, unfairness and feelings of powerlessness. As women, we have the added hurdle of being brought up to associate rejection with our own lack of talent, looks, etc. It’s a vicious cycle of thought and we only know how difficult it is to break it. How do you forge ahead when the voices in your head tell you you’re unworthy of it?
Lucy is a bright, resilient and determined woman who decided to take her career into her own hands and has reaped the rewards ever since. From sparse auditions to getting one of her shorts picked up as a series, she has a lot to offer us in ways of advice, juicy anecdotes and inspiration. We had SO much fun talking to her!
Note: There was a small technical glitch for the first bit of the episode but don't worry, the content is that good that you'll be listening in until the end.

Join us with Talent Agent Celia Learmonth who started off as an actor, but during the pandemic the opportunity presented itself to assist in a small up-and-coming Talent Agency. “Another perspective and insight into the industry, you say?” — Her curiosity was piqued, her appetite was whet and since then she has worked as an agent, with clients working on projects with the BBC, ITV, Amazon Studios, Marvel, Netflix, Immersive LDN, various other theatre companies in London and around the UK.
She prides herself on her business-minded approach, balanced with her personal relationship with each of the clients she represents. Her goals as an agent are to be thanked in a BAFTA speech (obvs) and to be a Godparent to one of her client’s children (!!) 🌟
Needless to say that Miss Celia is one hell of a candid woman. Opinionated, driven, hilarious - what more could you want from a guest?
Celia is interviewed by Clementine Pinet & Oriane Pick from Candid Broads Productions
Jingle by Hollie Buhagiar
Edited by Oriane Pick
Mixed by Itzel Gonzalez Estrada

This week, we chat with Actress, Writer and Director Elisha Applebaum, our first guest on Girl On Girl Action!
You may recognise her from Netflix’s ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ as Musa. Elisha also co-created the Woman Waves podcast, where like us she talks all things entertainment industry and... women, obviously.
On this podcast, we'll touch on her journey as an actor, embracing the fear of not knowing what's coming next, her writing and directing debut, some random bits we bet you never knew about her, and of course, our favourite subject at Candid Broads: female empowerment and what that means for Elisha.
So get your glass of wine, or your G&T, and listen in!
