  • Time to polish the plexiglass dancefloor and warm up for some impossible vocal runs!

This week, the Glee club gets a double dosage of themed assignments as they boogie down the hallways in polyester suits in 3x16: "Saturday Night Glee-ver" and pay homage to one of the all-time greats in 3x17: "Dance with Somebody". Who has the vocal chops to give Whitney her due (*cough* Amber) and who falls short (*coughs* Heather and Chris)? Is Saturday Night Fever an effective tool against existential dread? And, for God's sake, when will Mr. Schue get adult friends?!

  • Time for some unresolved familial sexual tension!

This week, the eldest Anderson son visits McKinley High School, leaving basically no imprint on the plot of the show. In 3x15: "Big Brother", Matt Bomer drops in to spy on his younger brother at the gym, Coach Roz Washington steals yet another scene, and Quinn is on a wheelchair, but it's not a really big deal?

We also talk about Matt Bomer's extended role in the Murphyverse, Barb and Star Go to Vista del Mar, and our favorite moments of the past fifty episodes.

This week, comedian Zach Noe Towers joins us to discuss the most afterschool special of Glee yet, as we dive into 3x14: "On My Way." Karofsky's emotional state leads to Mr. Schue making it all about himself, Finn and Rachel rush their wedding bells, and Quinn is late. Oh, and on top of all that, it's also the Regionals episode.

  • Time to roll those Rs and prep for our nighttime routine!

This week, guest stars abound and racial stereotypes are propagated as the Glee club gets muy caliente with the arrival of Ricky Martin in 3x12: "The Spanish Teacher", and Rachel's buoyant home life is explored with Jeff Goldblum and Brian Stokes Mitchell in 3x13: "Heart". • Marry me? What would Michael Jackson do?

The New Directions try to answer these questions in the two episodes we discuss this week. In 3x10: "Yes/No", Will Schuester outsources his marriage proposal to the Glee club, and that's not even the biggest blur of boundaries he makes. And in 3x11: "Michael", the New Directions try to solve their differences with the Warblers... through dance?

We also discuss the bad decisions Rachel makes while spiraling, overstuffed tribute episodes, and we create what each of our episodes would look like if we curated the playlist completely.

  • Merry belated Christmas and happy Sectionals!

This week we talk about two episodes who should be much stronger given its individual parts. In 3x08: "Hold on to Sixteen", the New Directions face off against the Trouble Tones, Quinn confronts Shelby, and Lindsay Pearce returns. And in 3x09: "Extraordinary Merry Christmas", the Glee club puts on a Christmas special with some of the strongest wit and out-of-the-box thinking the show has done thus far. But both episodes end up falling apart. Like Lea Michele's hair post-partum.

  • It's Lady Music Week at McKinley! But it's all somehow led by Finn?

This week's episode "I Kissed a Girl" sees the repercussions (or lack thereof) of the slap, as Santana struggles with her coming out, Finn tries to orchestrate it, and Puck and Shelby continue an incredibly misguided dynamic. We also discuss Quinn's downward spiral, Sue Sylvester's past famous hookups, and Glee's track record with stealing other artist's arrangements.

  • Rumor has it this week we discuss a vital episode inside the Glee mythology!

In an appearance that has been on the books since we started this show, we welcome Chief TV Critic at Variety, Caroline Framke, to discuss 3x06: "Mash-Off"! In an essential episode for Santana, we talk about the role of Naya Rivera inside queer representation in TV, the nuance of her performance, and, of course, we dive deep into that Adele mash-up.

We also talk about The Prom (which we watched!), The Grinch Live! (which we didn't watch), and FX on Hulu's A Teacher (which apparently everyone should watch!).

  • Top o' the morning! We've come all the way from Ireland to grant you three wishes!

This week, we dive into the first episode of Damian McGinty's winning arc in 3x04: "Pot' O Gold", and we try to channel our sexual experiences into our acting in 3x05: "The First Time". A new exchange student comes into McKinley and adds almost nothing to the plot, and the production of West Side Story is on its way. Plus, Quinn tries to frame Shelby, Brittana is officially a thing, and an iconic gay villain is born.

  • Mr. Schue was supposed to love me!

This week, it's all about presidential campaigns, dance booty-camps, and half-baked diva-offs as we continue our season three recaps with 3x02: "I Am Unicorn" and 3x03: "Asian F". Topics include the perfect gene pool of the Chang family, Shelby Corcoran's hideous behavior, holes in the Glee/ Burlesque-verse, and the many tattoos of the cast.

  • Like the titular purple pianos, we have been gutted, torn and used, but we're back to deliver new music!

Join us as we embark on our season three journey and discuss the premiere "The Purple Piano Project"! Senior year looms on McKinley High, as the Glee club is shuffled with new additions (transfer Blaine! Sugar Motta!) and departures of old favorites (Dark Quinn is here! Also Sam apparently moved?) • Is this the real life? Is this Glee-ality?

We have come to the end of the road in our journey through the first season of The Glee Project. Was this trip filled with laughs, some memorable characters, and an overall good addition to the Glee lore? Perhaps yes. Do the final results make any sense whatsoever? You be the judge of that. Alex and Lindsay give us everything, Sam and Damian give us nothing, they all win something and yet it feels like we all lost.

This week, we go back to the summer of 2011, where crowds were still allowed and Gleeks everywhere gathered for the release of the 3D Concert movie.
