In this episode I give detail into my philosophy behind frying cabbage. My preference is to use either a wok or a cast-iron skillet. Are use a little oil along with some onions and garlic and sometimes bell peppers. However, the key to all of this is to not add water because the cooking process draws the water out of the cabbage itself in order to help it cook. Here’s a quick and easy plant-based recipe for those times when you really don’t feel like cooking but you’ve got to get something on the stove. Simply purchase your favorite package of dirty rice mix and use the beyond meat product instead of ground beef or ground turkey.

One of the most incredible purchases I have made was to invest in an air fryer. It allows me to cook my vegetables in a fraction of the time but I also add the bonus of roasting them which creates a delicious addition to the food. This weekend I tried a pizza with its crust made from cauliflower. I was absolutely amazed. I did not have any sense of missing out on pizza dough as I traditionally have known it. I definitely see myself creating my own cauliflower crust sometime in the near future!
