Good morning Baguio!
The global pandemic is taking its toll on every industry. Many businesses have already closed and several more are looming. No one is spared from the effects of the pandemic, small businesses to large-scale enterprises are all affected. The closing of businesses resulted in a very high rate of unemployment worldwide.
In the Philippines alone, the unemployment rate rose to 45% according to the latest SWS survey. In this episode of Good Morning Baguio, we talked about the unemployment rate in the Philippines and zeroed in on the different things that we can do in order to earn during these trying times.
We talked about the different ways you can earn from updating or learning a new skill to starting your own business. There are really a lot of ways on how you can earn, as long as you have the right mindset.
On the side, we also talked about some tools that will help you achieve your goals in acquiring new skills or in starting a new business. Most of these tools are free and easy to learn and use.
