Dr Jude is an experienced medical doctor and a qualified instructor, registered with the American Heart Association, the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa and the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
It wasn't until Jude met now husband (@Dave) Griffin, who sparked the riding bug and developed a passion for motorcycling. After attending to accidents in the trauma room as well as experiencing trauma first hand on the road, Dr Jude soon realised there was a great need to train riders in basic first aid skills to better equip themselves.

She’s no stranger to the competitive world and known as the Desert Rose(@taye). At only 5 foot 2 and having competed in over a 165 off road races, her latest and biggest achievement, a 77th overall position in the Dakar rally is not to be frowned upon. Set to become the first women from Africa to finish the Dakar, saw her lose out on this title due to mechanical problems.
“I was planning to return to the Dakar on a motorcycle, but Covid-19 and all of its economic ramifications put paid to that. So I immediately accepted when offered the chance to go racing in both the South African Cross Country series and next year’s Dakar,”
For the next Dakar she decided to change things up a bit and will navigate for Brian Baragwanath(@Brian) in a CR6 two wheeled buggy.
"The Baragwanath/ Perry/CR6 combination came into its own at the recent SA season-concluding race around Parys, when they finished third overall, closely behind the works Toyota Gazoo Hilux of Dakar legend Giniel de Villiers and Alex Haro"

The 2021 Dakar Rally will start and end in the city of Jeddah and cover a total distance of 7 900km in 12 stages over 13 days. After much fretting about whether all their efforts were in vain, many things may have changed in this brave new world, fortunately the spirit of adventure and Honda have not.

Candida Louis(@candida) a 28 year old lady from Hubli, South India with a Wanderlust spirit and a craving for adventure, something she believes she was born with. Starting off really young, going on rides with her dad as a pillion rider but always knew she wanted to be in the front seat. Her dad gifted her a motorcycle on one of her birthdays and from then onwards, it’s been an incredible journey.

The Motorcycle Safety(@msi) Institute of South Africa is the leading organisation on Motorcycle Safety & Risk Awareness in South Africa, conducting Advanced and Skilled Rider Courses, Road Captain Courses, Group Safety Training, and Riding Instructor Training in a support capacity to riding schools throughout the country.
MSI was founded by Hein Jonker(@hein) in November 2015, as an independent and private non-government organisation, and operated by a dedicated team of motorcycle safety enthusiasts.
