Our deepest condolences to his friends and family in this time of loss. He was a truly remarkable human being and will be greatly, greatly missed.

As we finish preparing this week's episode and as a symbol of gratitude to those that have tuned in, we'd like to treat you to a little musical special where we pay homage to the songs of HAiR. With lyrics written by James Rado and Gerome Ragni and coupled with the music of Galt MacDermot, their songs, by 1970, had sold over one million copies in the United States, had 608 national and international recordings, covered by artists which included Nina Simone, Mantovani, The Fifth Dimension, Paul Mauriat and Barbara Streisand, and to top it all off, a recording of the original broadway cast made it to moon with the astronauts of Apollo 12. We've even included a little surprise, so stick around to the end and we look forward to seeing you again this Thursday for our latest episode of HAiR, the american tribal love rock podcast.
