Hotel Chelsea is one of the most famous hotels in New York City. It has be home to many famous residents such as Mark Twain, Tennessee Williams, Arthur Miller, Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix to name a few. Poet Dylan Thomas died while staying at the Chelsea in 1953. Punk Rocker, Sid Vicious killed his girlfriend Nancy at The Chelsea in 1979. According to locals, this hotel is considered to be one of the most haunted places in New York.

Located in the Skid Row section of Los Angeles, The Cecil Hotel has a long, dark history of suicides, murders and paranormal activity. Many infamous guests have stayed at the hotel including the Night Stalker serial killer Richard Ramirez. One of most unusual events, at the hotel, took place in 2013 when 21 year old Elisa Lam was found dead in the hotel's water tower.
