Now that the confetti has settled on the Platinum Jubbly, we’re looking back at all of the major moments from the big weekend. The Sussexes returned from California, and even had a special birthday celebration for Lilibet, while the Cambridge kids were front and centre for many of the royal events, including Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s first walkabout, and a scene-stealing balcony appearance by Prince Louis. Elsewhere, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles paid a visit to Albert Square, and the royals managed to weaponise the universal appeal of Paddington Bear in a video with the Queen. Plus, we discuss the Queen’s partial absence — and Prince Andrew’s total absence — from the festivities, and what it means for the monarchy going forward. Thanks so much to our fabulous Eastenders correspondent Shy Charles, and thank you to everyone who has listened over the past three years. #AbolishTheMonarchy

Lady Gaga said Hold My Hand, and Tom Cruise appears to be taking notes… The movie star made headlines for helping Kate Middleton up the stairs at the Top Gun: Maverick premiere in London, and also made us wonder why he’s spending so much time around the royals, from red carpet events to private screenings to a jubbly horstravaganza. Elsewhere, the Queen learns how to use an Oyster card, Prince Charles makes his debut in parliament and Prince William gets booed at a football match. Plus, Prince Harry and Meghan are reported to be working on an “at-home” docuseries, and we discuss the “balcony ban” for Trooping the Colour ahead of the big jubbly weekend.
