This week I wanted to share a conversation I had on prayer on a dear friend, Samantha Semens' podcast. Samantha is a Podcaster, and the Founder of The Abundant Woman Collective. Sam has a passion for helping women to deepen their relationship with Jesus, discipleship, ditching religious checklists, and sharing the love of Christ! In this discussion on the power of prayer I share my personal journey of encountering God and how prayer became my passion. We discuss the barriers that can hinder people from praying, and encourage listeners to identify and overcome these barriers and to trust in God's goodness and timing. Takeaways: Prayer has the power to transform lives and cultivate intimacy with God. Barriers to prayer include self-sufficiency, fear of disappointment, and misconceptions about God's character. Overcoming these barriers requires identifying them, seeking God's help, and meditating on Scripture. Prayer is accessible and can be done anywhere, anytime. It is a meaningful and impactful spiritual practice. Revival starts with individuals seeking God earnestly through prayer and experiencing His presence and work in their lives.
