But on top of that, we are leaving college, and in a lot of cases, our hometown and many friends forever. We are transitioning into a full time job, becoming more independent, picking up a lot more responsibilities... but also experiencing the most freedom yet in our lives. We are able to make a lot of decisions for ourselves that we were unable to before; how to spend your new income, choosing how to take care of your living space, and so on. HELLOOO friends! Happy Friday! The sun is shining and it's finally getting warmer in New England, which makes everyone at least 50% happier. This week's episode is a wholeee rant about social media. Photoshopping, video editing, fake posed and unposed posts... there is so much ingenious content online that is almost impossible to spot. Apps and editing software have made photo and video edits basically seamless and unnoticeable, which plays a huge role in consumers' self esteem and confidence. We are responsible for reminding ourselves that everything online is curated, the best version of the poster, and it is a highlight reel! If everyone is going to continue posting edited photos and videos, then we need to be our own voice of reason and tell ourselves to take everything we see with a grain of salt.
