  • Danny Perez wrote a great book titled Intensive Care Units. In it, he talks about how important it is for us as Christians to grow into Christ together. We are created for connection, and the only way to become mature in Christ is to do it together. And if we think we're becoming mature in Christ, but our love for people isn't growing, we are not becoming mature in the Jesus of the Bible.

Danny and his wife, Kathryn, have been serving and loving military members and their families with Cadence International since 1984. Their lives are filled with people: loving, encouraging, mentoring, caring for and coming alongside them as they grow towards maturity. They offer the body of Christ a healthy dose of transparency and laughter while pursuing the lost and building up the believer. Danny has a Masters in Biblical Counseling from Colorado Christian University. They have been married since 1988 and are the parents of four grown men and grandparents of two adorable grandchildren. Danny is known for his puns and love of games.

  • The Bible says that we are to teach our children diligently the words God commands us. That is admittedly tricky when our culture is screaming at them to "live their truth" and essentially, be their own God.

So, in this episode, Andrew interviewed Jennifer Beitel who recently began a ministry called UNITED Next Gen with the goal of helping to provide clarity in cultural issues on a worldview level and to encourage intentional discipleship within the home.

After running parent book groups studying topics like biblical sexuality and biblical versus social justice, she enrolled in the Colson Fellows program in 2021 and became a commissioned Colson Fellow of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview in 2022, launching UNITED shortly after.
