Jordy is BEYOND excited to be joined by Em Rusciano this week. It was Em's honesty & advocacy that gave Jordy that 'oh shit, I am DEFINITELY ADHD' moment.
Jordy and Em unravel the layered experiences of neurodivergent women. From the difficult diagnostic experience to what comes after.
The conversation is a little scattered because, 2 ADHD women, but we hear all about Em's life both pre and post diagnosis.
How is she mothering differently post-diagnosis?
What was it like working in the media while undiagnosed?
And lastly, a thought that's probably crossed a lot of neurodivergent minds; How would life have been different if she'd been diagnosed earlier?
Like the title of this ep suggests, it's a little like a therapy session from someone who is a little further along in their ADHD/autism experience.
If you loved this ep and want to learn more, listen to Em's new podcast ANOMALOUS: a 5 part love letter to the neurodivergent community & a roadmap for neurotypical people.
