THE NATURE OF INTERCESSION 代祷的性质
1、Who is an intercessor? 谁是代祷者1 Corinthians 9;22-23.
22 向软弱的人，我就做软弱的人，为要得软弱的人。向什么样的人，我就做什么样的人，无论如何总要救些人。 23 凡我所行的，都是为福音的缘故，为要与人同得这福音的好处。
22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
Ezekiel 3:15
15 我就来到提勒亚毕——住在迦巴鲁河边被掳的人那里，到他们所住的地方，在他们中间忧忧闷闷地坐了七日。
15 I came to the exiles who lived at Tel Aviv near the Kebar River. And there, where they were living, I sat among them for seven days—deeply distressed.
1). An intercessor is a priest. 代祷者是祭司Revelation 5:10 10 又叫他们成为国民做祭司，归于神，在地上执掌王权。”
You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign[b] on the earth.”
1 Peter 2:9 9 唯有你们是被拣选的族类，是有君尊的祭司，是圣洁的国度，是属神的子民，要叫你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗、入奇妙光明者的美德。
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.a. The work of the priest is to carry the dirts of the people together with the sacrifice to the altar. 祭司的工作就是要承载子民的污秽并在祭坛上献祭Hebrews 5:1
5 凡从人间挑选的大祭司，是奉派替人办理属神的事，为要献上礼物和赎罪祭[a]。Every high priest is selected from among the people and is appointed to represent the people in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins.
He is taken from men and appointed for men. A pastor must be a teaching intercessor ( priest ).他是从人间来的，并为了人而被恩膏成为祭司。一位牧者必须是一位教导性的代祷者（祭司）。c. He is required for the people and also for himself. 他既是因子民的缘故也是因自己的缘故而被要求设立。Zachariah ( Luke 1:9-13)

14 我们既然有一位已经升入高天尊荣的大祭司，就是神的儿子耶稣，便当持定所承认的道。Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven,[f] Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.
He carries the burdens of the people on his shoulders. 他将人们的重担扛在自己肩膀上Our High Priest , He lives always to make intercession for us. He is the greatest intercessor. 我们的大祭司他永远为我们代祷。他是最伟大的代祷者。2) He is a King (commander ) 他是王（总指挥）An intercessor leads the battle 代祷者将带领争战When the intercessor (the priests) blew the trumpet , heaven responded to the cry of their hearts through the trumpet and Jericho fell down. 当代祷者（祭司）吹响号声，天上就回应他们通过号角声从心发出的呼求，耶利哥城就倒下。Joshua 6:12-16
12 约书亚清早起来，祭司又抬起耶和华的约柜。 13 七个祭司拿七个羊角在耶和华的约柜前，时常行走吹角。带兵器的在他们前面走，后队随着耶和华的约柜行。祭司一面走一面吹。 14 第二日，众人把城绕了一次，就回营里去。六日都是这样行。15 第七日清早，黎明的时候，他们起来，照样绕城七次。唯独这日把城绕了七次。 16 到了第七次，祭司吹角的时候，约书亚吩咐百姓说：“呼喊吧！因为耶和华已经把城交给你们了。
Intercessors lead the victory of God’s people. 代祷者将带领神百姓得胜Elijah took 12 stones (12 tribes of Israel) 以利亚取十二块石头（以色列12支派）1 Kings 18:31-4031 以利亚照雅各子孙支派的数目，取了十二块石头（耶和华的话曾临到雅各说“你的名要叫以色列”）， 32 用这些石头为耶和华的名筑一座坛，在坛的四围挖沟，可容谷种二细亚。 33 又在坛上摆好了柴，把牛犊切成块子放在柴上，对众人说：“你们用四个桶盛满水，倒在燔祭和柴上。” 34 又说：“倒第二次。”他们就倒第二次。又说：“倒第三次。”他们就倒第三次。 35 水流在坛的四围，沟里也满了水。 36 到了献晚祭的时候，先知以利亚近前来，说：“亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神，耶和华啊，求你今日使人知道你是以色列的神，也知道我是你的仆人，又是奉你的命行这一切事。 37 耶和华啊，求你应允我，应允我，使这民知道你耶和华是神，又知道是你叫这民的心回转。” 38 于是，耶和华降下火来，烧尽燔祭、木柴、石头、尘土，又烧干沟里的水。 39 众民看见了，就俯伏在地，说：“耶和华是神！耶和华是神！” 40 以利亚对他们说：“拿住巴力的先知，不容一人逃脱！”众人就拿住他们。以利亚带他们到基顺河边，在那里杀了他们。- Stones ( Burden ) 石头喻表责任/负担- Wood ( Dryness ) 木柴喻表干旱- Water ( Tears ) 水喻表眼泪-. Bull. ( Sacrifice ) 牛犊喻表牺牲
- Pray
The prophets of baal did not have this behind. That is why fire did not come when they called. 巴力的先知没有这些作在背后支撑，所以无论他们怎么呼求都没有火赐下来。
3) He is the main barrier against Satan’s influence in this world. 代祷者是阻挡撒旦影响世界的主要力量4）He is a mediator 代祷者是中间人Ezekiel 22:23-31
23 耶和华的话临到我说： 24 “人子啊，你要对这地说：‘你是未得洁净之地，在恼恨的日子也没有雨下在你以上。’ 25 其中的先知同谋背叛，如咆哮的狮子抓撕掠物，他们吞灭人民，抢夺财宝，使这地多有寡妇。 26 其中的祭司强解我的律法，亵渎我的圣物，不分别圣的和俗的，也不使人分辨洁净的和不洁净的，又遮眼不顾我的安息日，我也在他们中间被亵慢。 27 其中的首领仿佛豺狼抓撕掠物，杀人流血，伤害人命，要得不义之财。 28 其中的先知为百姓用未泡透的灰抹墙，就是为他们见虚假的异象，用谎诈的占卜，说‘主耶和华如此说’，其实耶和华没有说。 29 国内众民一味地欺压，惯行抢夺，亏负困苦穷乏的，背理欺压寄居的。 30 我在他们中间寻找一人重修墙垣，在我面前为这国站在破口防堵，使我不灭绝这国，却找不着一个。 31 所以我将恼恨倒在他们身上，用烈怒的火灭了他们，照他们所行的报应在他们头上。这是主耶和华说的。”
23 Again the word of the Lord came to me: 24 “Son of man, say to the land, ‘You are a land that has not been cleansed or rained on in the day of wrath.’ 25 There is a conspiracy of her princes[b] within her like a roaring lion tearing its prey; they devour people, take treasures and precious things and make many widows within her. 26 Her priests do violence to my law and profane my holy things; they do not distinguish between the holy and the common; they teach that there is no difference between the unclean and the clean; and they shut their eyes to the keeping of my Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them. 27 Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey; they shed blood and kill people to make unjust gain. 28 Her prophets whitewash these deeds for them by false visions and lying divinations. They say, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says’—when the Lord has not spoken. 29 The people of the land practice extortion and commit robbery; they oppress the poor and needy and mistreat the foreigner, denying them justice.
30 “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one. 31 So I will pour out my wrath on them and consume them with my fiery anger, bringing down on their own heads all they have done, declares the Sovereign Lord.”
-He is willing to say like Moses that instead of destroying the people, kill me. 代祷者愿意像摩西那样说，宁愿自己被杀也不要毁灭百姓-Daniel 但以理-He is more active when there is alot of evil 当邪恶加增，代祷者越发活跃-So because of the evil days we are in , we have work. 因为所处的邪恶世代，代祷者总是有工可作5）He is a covenant carrier 代祷者是约的承载者 （神的同在） ( Presence of God )6）He is a pillar in the church 他是教会的支柱7）He is a redeemer 他是赎罪者8）Advocate他是辩护者
