Meduza, the Italian three-piece group and production collective, gained international acclaim with their Grammy-nominated 2019 hit "Piece of Your Heart," showcasing their ability to blend house and pop seamlessly. With a unique approach, they incorporate raw behind-the-scenes moments into their music, allowing imperfections to create a more human and intimate experience. Collaborating with artists like Ed Sheeran and Hozier, Meduza explores diverse musical worlds, aiming to create something entirely new. Their 2023 self-titled EP reflects the juxtaposition of vibrant pop and dark, industrial tones, demonstrating their versatility. Beyond music, Meduza's ties to fashion and aspirations to break international barriers in dance music emphasize their multifaceted approach. Looking to the future, they anticipate a major label album with accelerated beats-per-minute and dream collaborations with Drake, Post Malone, and The Weeknd. Their ultimate goal is to unite people through dance music and pave the way for other talented Italian artists on the global stage. Despite their success, Meduza remains driven to redefine paradigms in pop and house throughout the evolving landscape of the 2020s.

Kyle Worde presents THE FELIX JAEHN INTERVIEW
This one was a special one for me. Returning to season 3, with episode 5 featuring an artist such as Felix was a true honour. Put aside the astonishing fact that he is one of the few artists in the world to receive over 20 million streams a month on Spotify alone - this conversation speaks past that, past the joyful sound of the music, sitting in between the persona and the person. Felix and I have a candid chat about his career, depression, sexuality, where his headspace is now and how it reflects back on his highly sought after time spent chatting with me for After Hours #AHGlobal

Kyle Worde presents THE INHALER INTERVIEW
Inhaler released their highly-anticipated debut album It Won’t Always Be Like This through Polydor. The Irish quartet is one of the most exciting bands to emerge over the past few years and It Won’t Always Be Like This lives up to their thrilling potential. Singer and guitarist Eli Hewson, bassist Robert Keating, guitarist Josh Jenkinson and drummer Ryan McMahon have made a record that captures their evolution from exciting upstarts to refined songsmiths. It takes in a dazzling array of sonic textures, where huge, hooky choruses perfectly meld with intricate, dynamic instrumentation.

Kyle Worde chats with Richard Melville Hall, known professionally as Moby, an American musician, songwriter, singer, producer, and animal rights activist. Not only do they touch on the new record, REPRISE itself, but even more so on the emotional journey & 'time portal' of music.
“Reprise” is an opportunity for Moby to revisit the musical highlights of his life’s work in a completely new way. Together with Hungary’s Budapest Art Orchestra, he has re-envisioned some of his most recognizable rave classics and anthems. Some of the new versions are sparser, slower and more vulnerable, while others exploit the bombastic potential an orchestra can offer. Three decades into his career, “Reprise” is less of a Greatest Hits record and more of a chance to reflect on the way in which art can adapt over time to different settings and contexts.

The conversation continues with Season 3. Welcome to #AfterHoursAfrica S3. E2. ft Aidin Caye
A brand new South African documentary, The State of the Arts – The Forgotten Industry, released to coincide with World Music Day on 21 June 2021, is a compelling snapshot of the struggles faced by some of the country’s entertainment and live-performing artists during the Covid-19 pandemic and the still-ongoing lockdown restrictions.
The State of the Arts Director, Adrien Conradie, aka Aidin Caye – DJ and Producer, says he was inspired to undertake the project to showcase the difficulties faced by his colleagues and friends who are reliant on live performances for the majority of their income. “At no point in the last 15 months have nightclubs legally been allowed to operate as they are seen to be high risk for the spread of Covid-19, and as much as the lockdown restrictions have eased as the time has gone by, the ability for our industry to operate has constantly been restricted, with very little support from the government.”

Magic System stand as one of Ivory Coast's biggest musical exports to date, originating from their global hit, 'Premier Gaou', released in 1999 and soon after reaching #4 on the French charts, solidifying Magic System in the global music industry with over 35 million streams to date. Haiti born, New York-based House DJ/producer Francis Mercier, Deep Root Records label boss grew up with African and French influences as well as a love for 'Premier Gaou' but felt the song could have a modern ‘Afro House’ makeover to fit better into his sets. He reached out to the band and right holders in early 2020 and a year later was finally able to clear his remake for a re-release on leading Deep House label, Spinnin' Deep.
