Ep. 137 - Max Hellesto (Regional Justice Center, Vatican Voss)
Max is the frontman and inspiration behind the wholehearted yet menacing-sounding project that is Regional Justice Center, while also showcasing a different side of creativity by performing in a rap project under the name “Vatican Voss.”
Max was incarcerated at the age of 18, shortly after his brother, Ian Shelton, began Regional Justice Center to commemorate him. After being a free man for a few years, Max and I speak about fronting RJC, his childhood and teenage years, adapting to life after prison, and what the future holds.

Ep. 134 - Remy Veselis
Remy Veselis is one half of the acclaimed duo Death Bells. He also showcases his talent as the guitarist for Object of Affection and Lovesick, manages tours for bands like Gatecreeper and Provoker, and runs the iconic venue Genghis Cohen in Los Angeles' Fairfax District.

Episode 133: Ron "Going Underground Records"
Ron is the owner and founder of "Going Underground Records," a record store located in Bakersfield. Born and raised in Bakersfield, Ron, at the age of 21 in 2001, bought the inventory of a former record store, "Andy’s Noise," to open "Going Underground Records." My girlfriend Raquel, Daniel (our editor), and I took a trip to Bakersfield to learn as much as we could from Ron’s story.
We discuss Muñoz Gym, being a young punk in Bakersfield 20+ years ago, the inspiration behind "Going Underground Records," opening a second location in Los Angeles, and more.

Ep. 132 - Conrad Loebl
Conrad is a beloved DJ, event producer, and graphic designer. He is a hardcore kid who, over the years, has been crushing various aspects of the event industry, running bars and venues, as well as helping book shows and after-parties.

Juan Carlos is the real deal through and through, from being in punk bands such as Impalers, Strutter, The Creamers, Scorched Earth, and more. He has also been running a punk fest “This is Austin Not that Great”, plus tour managing multiple acts such as Lil Tracy, Narrowhead, and more.

Cole Koopsman, better known as “Koops” or Crucial Cole, is a living spirit of youth, hardcore, and positivity.
I first saw Koops at a wrestling show in Long Beach many years ago and was engraved in my head due to his Gorilla Biscuits tattoo. Koops and I have run into each other at shows for some time now, and although we are opposites of each other, we are also very similar. We both love hardcore and want to better our lives in our own ways.

Ep. 120 - Sherwin Shapouri

Sherwin, a Texas hardcore kid, rose to prominence as a tour manager in the alternative music scene.
From releasing Power Trip’s initial demo to overseeing tours for Shoreline Mafia, Lil Peep, Iron Age, and Power Trip, he now manages acts like SEMATARY and Jesus Piece.
We discuss his upbringing through his teenage years, starting with assisting Power Trip, embarking on DIY tours with Iron Age, constructing a venue/house in Texas, which was ultimately shut down after a Trash Talk/Odd Future show, and ultimately, making a career out of managing tours and acts.
