Over the past seven years I’ve been through a fascinating journey with chronic pain (Burning mouth/bladder pain)/OCD and subsequently discovering the tools to facilitate self-healing through mind-body medicine. This exploration has introduced me to a wealth of knowledge, particularly regarding Tension Myositis Syndrome (TMS). Along this path, I found the necessary skills to heal chronic pain and the endless array of mystery symptoms. Through this experience I learnt that the healing journey isn’t just about being pain-free, it’s about embodying acceptance so deeply, that no matter what life throws at you, you’ll be ok. Now, I am excited to share these insights and tools with others.
In this episode I break down my learnings into sixcategories required for healing:
1 – Educate yourself about Tension Myositis Syndrome
2 – Believe you can heal
3 – Release emotions and practice acceptance
4 – Live your life based on your values
5 – Shift your mindset
6 – Practice self-compassion and patience

This meditation provides you with an opportunity to practice observing and witnessing challenging emotions, with an attitude of acceptance and non-judgement. Cultivating this skill creates a space where we can respond rather than react to our emotions, which allows the emotional energy to move through our bodies to release and integrate.
This practice comes to a close with a space to offer yourself self-compassion, tending to yourself with care and kindness.
This recording also includes background sounds of birds chirping in the morning, which can be used as an external anchor point if feeling gets too much. External anchors can also include objects in your environment such as a tree, flower, rug, cup, or clouds in the sky.

Reiki Healing is a very curious modality, especially to anyone who is new to it! When I first experienced energy healing, I had no idea how it was working, but I could feel it, so I knew something was happening. In this episode I share my perspective on Reiki healing, what it is, how it works and the benefits. Including my favourite part of Reiki healing – Awakening your Inner-healer! We all have the ability to heal ourselves and this is why Reiki is empowering at a deep soul level.

In this mini podcast episode I explain what mindfulness meditation is and what a "non- judgmental" attitude means. I also bust a few myths about mindfulness meditation including one I hear a lot - "Meditation means clearing your mind". ~ I also mention Vipassana meditation and what the "two signs of progress" in meditation are. ~ For more information about Mindfulness meditation I suggest following Teacher Jon Kabat-Zinn. ~ I'm excited to share a bit more about myself and my journey with Meditation and Reiki healing in the coming months!
