My friends took me to "SINNE" - a reasturant where you dine in the dark. It was incredible, and especially fascinating as a poly-synaesthete. Enjoy! And check out SINNE here

I got to sit down with neurodivergent artist April Livingston from the US. We explored the phenomenon of getting stuck in movie plots, materials and tasks: The Synaesthesia Eddy! Is this something you experience too and what are your thoughts? Is this a synaesthesia thing, or maybe rather visual or cross-modal echolalia, a matter of hyperfocus? We can't hear your thoughts! Reach out via Instagram @maikepreissing or @terracurio or via [email protected].
We also got to speak about Narcolepsy! Another condition, surprisingly closely linked to Neurodiversity. Thank you April for sharing your perspective and for raising awareness!

We probably all passed a LUSH shop at some point, but little did we know that the company is very much inspried by synaesthesia! How cool?? Mark Constatine, one of the founders of LUSH Handmade cosmetics is a synaesthete himself, and so is our Guest of today's episode: Jody Bailey can taste massages. She found a wonderful way to incorporate that into her job as a massage therapist, trainer and product developer at LUSH. In this episode she fills us in on how and how the "Synaesthesia Massage treatment" came to live. We hope you will enjoy Episode 30, a perspective on Synaesthesia in Business!

A gifted person demonstrates advanced abilities or potential in one or more specific areas when compared to others of the same age, experience, or environment. They excel in their capacity to think, reason and judge.
Twice-exceptional inidivduals are "gifted with a twist" as their exceptional abilities coexist with conditions such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia or others.
Today's guest is Mental Health Therapist Emily Kircher-Morris. We'll learn about how both giftedness and twice-exceptionality present in young kids, students and adults, how to create neuro-affirming classrooms and what it needs to raise healthy neurodivergent kids. Emily and Maike also discuss the common experience of deep existential thoughts that so many gifted children share.
Emily Kircher-Morris is the host of "the Neurodiversity Podcast" and you can find her here:
