  • Have you ever gotten to a point in your life where you just can’t believe why God will not let you have something you really desire? I think it could even threaten your faith and trust in God.

It is usually at that point you need to remember God’s diverse works more than ever. Our flesh can be really tricky to push us into complaints and doubt in God as though he has never shown up before. You must jolt your memory to remember how God has worked in your life so that you have the foundation to trust that He knows what He is doing at the moment.

In this episode, I encourage you to lay up stones of remembrance for the days you may forget or as a testimony of God’s goodness.

So Joshua called together the twelve men he had appointed from the Israelites, one from each tribe, and said to them, “Go over before the ark of the LORD your God into the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the Israelites, to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’

tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.” - Joshua 4:4-7

What creative ways can you lay up stones of remembrance unto God? I will be reading your suggestions in the comments 😃😃

    Warm Hugs,

    Ogheneruno

  • Hiiiiiiiiii 🤗

    How are you doing?

In the last episode, I shared a story of how Jesus turned Simon Peter’s life around in such a short time. Man went from fisher of fish to fisher of men! That’s such a high calling if you ask me.

In this episode, I shared 3 more lessons that I learnt from the story in Luke 5:1 - 11.

I’ll like you to dive right in and tell me which lessons speak to you the most. Feel free to share any other lesson gotten from the story. I’ll definitely be waiting.

    Warm Hugs 🤗,

    Ogheneruno

  • Ever heard something from God and you either find it funny or reluctantly obey? I think that was the case with Simon Peter in the story I shared in this episode.

Jesus has a really great sense of humor, you know. He encounters people in really random ways, on random days. Jesus takes a simple scenario and makes a grand miracle out of it. Just like that!

When you wake up each day, you need to expect a miracle. God has loads of them in store. Even if you don’t see it coming, trust God again. If you have tried everything you know how to do, it’s a great time to allow God to speak a word to you. That can definitely change everything.

Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” Luke 5:5

I love the story shared in this episode. Listen and tell me the lessons you learned from the story. I really look forward to it!

    Warm Hugs 🤗,

    Ogheneruno

  • As I write this, I am listening to a song titled, “He Understands” by Chandler Moore. It pretty much captures the message I will like to share with the broken-hearted ❤❤❤

If you are like me, you may have experienced quite a number of heartbreaking seasons and probably have some more ahead. In all, one thing stands, God is near to the broken-hearted. Psalms 24:18 - 19 says,

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all

While I may not know the source of your pain or frustrations, I encourage you to place your burden on Jesus. No matter what it may be. God understands and doesn’t want to see you hurt.

I have a limited experience of life and hardly know much, but God knows everything.

    Jesus is with you.

    Love always,

    Ogheneruno

  • Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii 😀😀😀

It’s the big 10, my people!

I’m truly excited and immensely grateful at the same time. If you know me, you’ll know I celebrate all my wins - big or small!

In this episode, I shared a personal story of how I started the Life Anchor Podcast. This will always be special to me because it took a long time to finally get here.

What’s something God has laid in your heart to do but you are still struggling to pull through?

What’s fueling your doubt? I think it’s time to refocus and just get your eyes back on God. Joshua 1:9 says,

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

If God has said go, best believe it’s time to go!

You may need to pray and sit with God’s word to get strategies and direction and that’s okay. Just make sure you set your eyes on Jesus.

Please let me know how this episode has blessed you in the comments.

    Warm Hugs 🤗,

    Ogheneruno

  • I reckon that walking with God can come with so many sides. There’s always something new to experience.

What’s one area you really want to encounter God personally right now? Have you really acknowledged it to God?

My ears had heard of You, but now my eyes have seen You.
    Job 42":5

In this season, I pray and hope with you that the things you have heard about God only with your ears become your own experience. When that happens, be glad.

In the meantime, keep enjoying all the beautiful ways you have seen God.

I will like to hear from you in the comments 😀.

    Warm Hugs🤗,

    Ogheneruno

  • This episode is special, trust me. I had a conversation with my friend and brother, Teejay. I was totally blessed and I know you will be blessed too.

    We talked about fasting!
What does fasting even mean to you?

Fasting has come all the way from the old testament to the new testament and even to our present day. It never gets old and does not stop being relevant.

Jesus fasted. Daniel fasted. Paul fasted. The church fasted. Do you still fast?

Listen to this episode and tell me what you learned or just share something that will help us understand fasting better. I’m looking forward to reading every single comment.

    Warm Hugs🤗,
    Ogheneruno

  • A lot of things are really happening around the world. So much hurt, pain, fear, and stress. People have valid reasons to respond from a place of their hurt and struggle even. You may even be one of them. My prayer is that you find comfort and peace in God.

As Christians, one way we can shine our light is through compassion. Compassion goes beyond sympathizing with others to actually getting involved in helping them get out of their suffering.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

As we receive comfort and compassion from God, let us also be channels of help unto others as well.

I pray God opens your eyes and hearts to be compassionate to those around you.

    How are you doing?

I look forward to hearing from you in the comments or via email - [email protected]

    Warm Hugs 🤗,

    Ogheneruno

  • Quick question!

How do you feel when you go off your way to help someone in a tough situation?

For me, Fulfilling is the word.

This episode is an interesting one, as I go through a story in the Bible that is almost fading out today because of how difficult things are.

“Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.” Mark 2:1-4

In this story, we see the heart of 4 men who were instrumental in helping a paralytic man find healing.

The question is - how intentional are you about lifting others up, family, friends, or even strangers?

I really hope today’s episode helps you break through roofs for another 😉.

As a reminder, I'm not here to only speak, but also to help as much as I can and grow with you to be what God has called us to be.

  • I have come to the point where I know life gets busier. Every day comes with its own dynamics. If you are doing something purposeful, then getting busy daily becomes more worthwhile.

In all these, you could get caught up with rushing quiet time with God or not even having it.  You might begin to lose grip of our hold on your solitary times with Jesus which could be so refreshing. This has happened to me too many times, so I know.

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Simon and his companions went to look for him, and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!” - Mark 1:35 - 37

How often do you spend time with the Lord?

In this episode, I want you to know that Jesus was busy too, so you are not alone. Even now, we cannot get enough of Jesus so try to imagine how the people sought after Him while on earth 😅. In all, God’s desire is to bring you back to that place of spending time intentionally with Him, because even Jesus with all His busyness still snuck out to spend quiet time with His father.

How has spending time with Jesus been for you lately? Let me know in the comments.

  • Helloooooooo 🤗🤗

How are you doing? I hope you are navigating life anchored on Jesus.

On today’s episode, I had a quick chat with a dear friend and sister, Nichole Okposio. This conversation is really interesting and I know you would learn a thing or two, cause I did.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Romans 8:14

I desire for you to walk with the Holyspirit closely but, God’s desire surpasses that beyond any yardstick I could think of!

    It’s first about God really.

Over to you, what are some of the ways to show you are walking with the Holyspirit? I really love to hear from you on this.

  • Hello, good people,

How are you doing for real?

What have your experiences with Christians outside the walls of the church been so far, especially at work or in business?

I have had quite a number of not-so-good reports about the quality of work Christians do and it hurts to know it is true sometimes 😏

I've heard of experiences where workplace managers find it difficult to hire believers due to their lack of work ethic and excellence in the workplace and I'm extremely glad to see lots of believers beginning to change the narrative. However, we need more!

Joseph gave us a clear show of excellence as a slave, in prison, and as a prime minister. Daniel also did!

Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. DANIEL 6:3 KJV

How can you be excellent daily? what areas do you need to do better?

Remember the spirit of God is the spirit of excellence. That is your advantage.

I look forward to reading your comments. Let me hear your opinions on the topic and what blessed you.

Please subscribe and share your comments.

  • In this episode, I get to bring us into the different prisons or unlikely situations we live through a story of a man from the Bible (listen to find out 😇😉).

When life throws different situations that make you question God's faithfulness and our knowledge or stability, what do you constantly show up with? With joy and hope or with gloominess and anger?

Are you able to still show forth God's glory?

I can't wait for what you'll glean from this episode. Feel free to share in the comments your thoughts and lessons.

  • And the first episode is here!!!

I'm so excited but a little nervous about the whole journey.

However, recording this episode reminded me that it's okay to be both, but not okay to think I'm doing it alone.

In this episode, we get to understand what life really means and how anchoring our lives on Jesus makes a lot of difference. It's super packed, easy to understand and I hope this brings you to allow Jesus into every box that exists in your life. Anchor every part of you on the one who knows you fully, loves you completely and has planned the best for you.
