Rossbach also highlights the supportive role of the Netherlands Embassy in Mexico towards promoting Dutch water treatment tech.

    Value Bombs

    1) 80% of the city’s water treatment plants are not working!

    2) Water is being wasted at the rate of 86 million litres per day – that is the water from 35 olympic sized swimming pools, or enough to fill the Aztec Football stadium every three days, literally going down the drain.

    3) There is a water crisis as never been seen before as although there is enough water, it is simply too polluted to be used.

    3) Due to the poor quality of the water child mortality is one of the highest in Latin America.

  • Welcome to Liquid Assets - a show with Mark Felstead where we talk to some of the world’s leading minds on how to fix one of the world’s biggest problems…making clean water available to everyone the world over.
Water is more than a necessity; it's life itself. Despite our beautiful planet being covered in over 70% water, over 96% of this is salt water, leaving only a fraction for billions worldwide to drink.
In fact, only a tiny fraction runs through our rivers, lakes and streams
So you would think we would do everything possible to keep them clean, right?
In Liquid Assets we will be talking to innovators, movers and shakers at the forefront of doing exactly that.
