  • When I think about my daughter’s future, I also worry about whether she’ll have access to necessities like clean water, clean air, fresh foods in the upcoming years. These worries can be categorised as eco anxiety and probably you also have such thoughts. The question is what we can do for a sustainable earth for our kids.

Did you know that anxieties related to the environment are more common in women? Or that there are many other ways by which environmental change impacts women’s mental health disproportionately? Do you want to know how? And how we can be a little kinder to earth everyday?

All this is discussed in today’s episode with Bhagyashree Jain, the founder of The Disposal Company. She was named in the coveted Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list of 2024 for her pioneering work in introducing Plastic Neutrality in India and creating sustainability solutions.

Bhagyashre’s venture is helping brands become plastic neutral. The Disposal Company helps companies offset plastic they have created and used by recovering or removing an equivalent amount from the environment and recycling it.

All these insights are available to you for free so I am giving you the responsibility of spreading word about the podcast. Rate, review and share it with your family and friends. Thank you.

  • I see a lot of stereotypes around Love and Arranged marriages and with this episode I am attempting to break them by sharing snippets of my life after ‘happily ever after’. I also talk about why I wanted to get married, my upbringing, conditioning, fights with my husband and about motherhood.

Husband-Wife relationship is probably the most important for both the spouses involved and if you find the right person, work-life balance, parenting, homemaking and your personal growth become a little easy.

I see changing equations in modern families that benefit both the partners and also arrangements that are no good for anyone. This episode is an attempt to spread the message about healthy relationships in marriages. Let’s Talk.

  • I am a millennial parent raising a gen alpha. We might have adapted to the internet but not all of us fully understand how fast the digital world is changing and what dangers it might carry especially for our kids.

Yes, the internet has many many benefits but has its dark side too. I have stopped sharing my daughter’s pictures online and wonder about the right age to give her a phone and about educating her regarding internet’s threats.

Even connecting and communicating with this generation requires a very different approach as they are born in a completely digital world and have sharp minds.

If you also wonder about your kids' safety in the digital world, if you want to know what to do if your or your kids’ pictures are used wrongly then this episode is for you. We also talk about screen time management, cyberbullying prevention, social media for kids and internet safety for kids because protecting kids online is the need of the hour.

I am speaking with cyberpsychologist Nirali Bhatia. Nirali is an accomplished Consulting Psychologist and Psychotherapist, with over two decades of experience in web technology. Her area of expertise lies in Cyberpsychology where she studies the impact of technology on human behaviour and mind. She heads V4Web Technologies Pvt. Ltd, a tech company that specializes in developing secure applications with the best user experience. Nirali is also a director at V4WEB Cybersecurity, a top 20 trusted company in the cybersecurity domain in India.

Nirali Bhatia is the founder of Cyber B.A.A.P., an anti-cyberbullying organization providing guidance, counselling, and reporting assistance to victims of cyberbullying. Her extensive experience and knowledge have led her to be a guest speaker and panelist for organizations such as UN Women and UNICEF. She has also been invited to participate in panel debates on various news channels and cybersecurity conferences.

We had a very open talk but please understand that the purpose is not to judge you but to educate you so please listen with an open mind.

All this information is coming to you for free so I urge you to support me by sharing this episode with all the parents you know. You’ll be helping many parents and kids by doing this.

  • One thing that definitely comes with marriage is added responsibilities. After marriage both the partners are not only responsible for themselves but also for each other and even for each other’s families to different extents. And if you add parenthood to the equation, things get trickier and overwhelming.

While managing responsibilities, we tend to forget ourselves. With so much clutter in our heads, it’s easy to follow what you see around you because you have no mental space to think for yourself. Then comes the fear of judgement, need for validation and we start feeling stuck.

We might even feel numb towards our daily lives. We want to take action to do something different but we feel the lack of time and energy. But do you know it’s possible to bring back that feeling of joy in life with Mind Decluttering? It’s possible to get unstuck, get mental clarity and have time to think clearly.

And Shikha Pandey is here to guide us. As a Mindfulness Mindset Coach, Shikha enables professionals seeking work life balance to create their unique balanced life by living mindfully. She enables them to build in daily awareness which reflects in the choice of micro habits that compound overtime to build mental toughness and resilience.

Let’s dissect stuck-ness, mental clutter and come out with a clearer head at the end of this episode. We have stress management and self-care tips that you can use.

  • Wouldn’t it be great if our hobbies became our job? Yes, entrepreneurship isn’t fun all the time but it’ll be exciting if we monetize a hobby. Maybe you are good at crochet or make fabulous watercolour paintings and you want to share your gifts with the world but you also feel that art is precious or it’s difficult to make money with art.

This episode is here to pump you up because we want you to start your side-hustle and make it big. I am speaking with Sanjana Chatlani, the founder of The Bombay Lettering Company. She used to work in luxury brand management and she loved her job. She took up calligraphy as a hobby but she fell so much in love with it that a few years down the line, she quit her job and now her art is her business too. Bombay lettering company is a boutique calligraphy and design studio catering to luxury weddings, events and celebrations! What started off as a creative outlet and passion project, led her to discover a niche career path.

    Let’s discover-

-Sanjana’s journey from a job to stumbling upon calligraphy

-How she chose her passion over a stable job

    -How she promoted her business

-How Sanjana Chatlani scaled The Bombay Lettering Company

-How you can monetize your hobby

  • When I was working with my life coach back in 2022, he told me that I have a fixed mindset and I have been working on it ever since. Many people are talking about developing a growth mindset in adults but very few are sharing about how to change our kids’ mindsets. Kids are born with a growth mindset but our upbringing takes them to the fixed side. Let’s understand- what’s growth mindset, why is it essential for everyone, how can we and our kids become growth minded

I’m speaking with psycho-socio-spiritual counselor Pooja Oswal. Her work includes parenting and life coaching, breathwork, PLR therapy, and mindset training. Pooja helps people unlock their full potential, combining Western and Eastern psychology principles focusing on Breath awareness, Harmonious relationships, non-violent communication, and embracing a growth mindset. In a Career spanning over 6 yrs She has worked with more than 1500 children and transformed lives of more than 100 Individuals.

  • Autopilot mode has become our way of living and more so for married women. They look after everyone in the house, do most of the homemaking duties, take care of their job if they work outside the home, parenting if they have kids and then whatever time they get, it gets devoted to TV and smartphones.

While focusing on immediate needs, we miss out on thinking beyond the next moment which makes us prone to overwhelm, stress and anxiety. But there’s a better way to live for Growth and in this episode, we discover it.

I am speaking with Shwetha Sivaraman who is a corporate banker turned self-mastery coach, passionate about maximising life for herself and others. She founded ‘Being Meraklis’ in her quest to understand what it takes to live a good life and support others in the journey of becoming.

Rather it’s about heart health, how it affects your fitness levels, what resting and target heart rates are, how to optimise our fitness levels with cardio and strength training. Good health also helps in improving our mental health. We start simple and go deep into it because my guest Drishti Chhabria is an expert here.

  • You can have it all, just not all at the same time. A lot of us have heard this quote but who decides what does ‘all’ even mean? Not everybody wants the C-suite job or an eight figure business. Not every woman wants to have a partner and many of them don’t want kids. So even though we all have different versions of ‘all’, it’s difficult to let go of societal expectations, social media noise and our own conditioning. This messes up our mental health everyday. But there are ways to define what you want, what is your ‘all’ in the current phase of your life and how to go about it. You’ll discover everything in this episode with my multi-talented guest. Krusha Sahjwani Malkani is an ICF certified career and life coach for women helping them to find and achieve their version of having it all. She's also the Director of a SaaS company, a LinkedIn Top Voice, a published author of fiction and a mother. Let’s find out-

-what does having it all mean

-why the expectation from women are higher

-can we really have it all

  • This episode has glamour, reality and inspiration like a blockbuster movie. My daughter wants to be a model but I am sceptical because in the media, I have mostly seen horror stories about this industry. Things like addiction and casting couch are highlighted more when it comes to modelling so when the team from modelling agency Auraa Talents reached out regarding a podcast interview, I knew I had to do it. I am speaking with Arpita Das who is a former model & founder and CEO of Auraa talents which is a modelling institution and talent management agency.

    Arpita talks about-

-how modelling is like any other profession and busts the biggest myths about it

-inclusivity in terms of skin tones and body sizes

-her view on casting couch and on how to stay away from predators

-on the practical side, we talk about the longevity of a model’s career and the perks of being a model

-opportunities and challenges for upcoming models

-tips on successfully navigating the modelling landscape

And she shares her story of becoming an entrepreneur from a model

  • I love doing this podcast but rarely talk about it when meeting people. I don’t want to sound salesy but the truth is that if we don’t talk about our work, people won’t get to know about it. Our message won’t reach people who need it and also we won’t be able to earn well.

To reduce our fear of selling, I am speaking with business mentor Ishita Khattar in this episode.

Ishita is a corporate lawyer turned business mentor and coach. She also has her own podcast Dream Life Collective. She started her coaching business in 2022 as a productivity coach and then transitioned to business coaching. She helps coaches grow their business to their first 6 figures with strategy and intentionality. She is also a hands-on mom to a 5 year old boy. So, she is the perfect person to learn from.

That’s why today I have a person with me who has got the pulse of pop-culture. It's none other than Aastha Atray, the editor of Sunday Midday, an author and one of the pioneering podcasters in India.

  • Trigger Warning- This episode contains references to domestic violence, suicide, anxiety and depression so please listen at your own discretion.

All of us go through many unfavourable situations and feel all kinds of emotions. Some of us have a support system but not everyone is so fortunate. This is where mental health helplines come in. The counsellors listen to you and provide the right guidance. Many women are unsure about reaching out to such helplines so in this episode I am speaking with a person who works with a mental health helpline called Muktaa.

Shreya Subbannavar is a Project Coordinator at Muktaa Mental Health Helpline. She is a Psychologist who practices using an eclectic but, mainly a Person Centred approach with some tools of Arts-Based Therapy as well. She was a crisis line responder for Aks Foundation for 5 years and has experience working with denotified tribes - focusing on their education and mental health as well.

We talk about how helplines work, how they can help you and how your privacy is protected. We also talk about how we as society can help people around us who might be going through certain challenges.

Please share this episode with someone who you feel might benefit from it.
