In this episode I am in Milan, Italy, and I have the pleasure to interview Mrs Caterina Sarfatti. She works at C40, an NGO gathering mayors from all around the world who collaborate to tackle the climate crisis. Mrs Sarfatti leads the Inclusive Climate Action programme, which helps cities transition but also includes a social justice dimension. You will learn more about C40, some concrete actions they helped to implement in cities and why social justice has to be included to fight climate change. We also talked about environmental commitment in general, sexism, civil disobedience and what still lacks to address climate issues. Enjoy! You can find more detail on C40 on their website (https://www.c40.org/about-c40/) and on Instagram @c40cities (https://www.instagram.com/c40cities/). Finally here is some information on the two people mentioned : Mr Alexander Langer (https://www.greeneuropeanjournal.eu/alexander-langers-case-for-an-ecological-conversion/) and Mrs Mariana Mazzucato (https://marianamazzucato.com/about).
