  • In this episode we explore what Misneach is in our lives.

Misneach is the Irish word for courage and I feel that the call into it as men is an important one.

    The episode covers:

What is courageHow does it present itself for us as menThe difference between the mind and the heartFinding our edge as we navigate challenges in lifeGetting support to make positive changes Taking responsibility by becoming a co creator of our own realitiesContributing in the world by showing upQuestions that show us where we're being called to leadTaking the road less travelled

There's a lot in this short episode, and really it's all about how we can become more responsible as men to create a life more aligned with our highest values and truths.

    I hope you enjoy.

  • Fáilte, welcome to the first episode of Misneach: A Podcast For Men.

Well actually this project began back in 2018 when I travelled around Ireland and interviewed 10 different men in the creative field. They ranged from chefs, musicians, artists, photographers, extreme adventurers and many more, you can find those episodes below this one.

Anyways back to Misneach, that's the Irish word for courage and to be honest that's what has been asked of me to get back in front of the microphone.

But it's all good, this isn't just about me, this is about us as men and offering some of the lessons and learnings I have received over the years of walking an unconventional path as a man.

I'll let you listen to this episode that tells you a bit about that and hopefully this is a continued resource that supports you in your own wellbeing.

The intention is to release an episode each week on Wednesdays with each episode focusing on one or two specific topics related to our wellbeing as men.

And also in time I hope to bring on other men and interview them so we can deep dive together about the challenges and gifts of being men today.

For now, enjoy the episode and any questions you can find me on social media @

    Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/darraghsheehy/

Or alternatively you can email me at: [email protected]

Also last thing, if you want to support this podcast with the price of a coffee the I've setup this Kofi page: https://ko-fi.com/darraghsheehy

This is money that I can use to continue to record each week and to edit and produce the show to the highest quality and offer you a greater resource for your wellbeing, any support is welcome.

    Anyways sin é,

    Le beannachtaí agus misneach,

Damian Browne is an incredible human.

He has had a professional career in Rugby Union spanning 16 years, having played with Leinster, Connacht, Northampton and several French teams at the highest level of the professional sport.

His feats outside of sport as an individual are equally as impressive.
