We were greatly honoured when putting together episode 73 to be joined in the studio by Hot-off-the-presses SMOTY Contender Heath van der Waerden and his Street Machine Magazine Contributor buddy, and returning guest, Jack Houlihan. Tune in as we put Jacka to work digging into the car life of Heath via our Neverl8 Eight plus Two before Heath,as requested, reveals his favourite Street Machine Magazine builds over the past 12 months of releases. If you didnt know this inspiring lad already then there is much to discover. #smoty2024
While there is plenty to bring those warm and fuzzy feelings through the car chat portion of the episode there is also a cheeky little interview that has found its way into the Music Chat section via a Roaming Moses moment.
The beard is joined by Connor Twomey of Dayfever for a quick chat about a forthcoming full length vinyl release, currently in the works, as a follow on from the band's recent self-titled EP. Check em out on your streaming platforms for a great dose of soul-fuelled folk. -
Continuing on with the recent father and son theme, in episode 72 the boys are joined by Scott and Thomas Campbell. Top lad Tom has been pressing for a while to see himself included in the podcast and right here and now his and his dad's appearance make perfect sense. Tune in to see Moses make an epic blue in General Business when he spruiks the HK HT HG Nationals 12 months ahead of time before breaking down the extensive car life of Holden Humpy stalwart Scott Campbell. From there it's straight into our review of November 2024 Street Magazine, which we found to be an epic release, before dropping a little bonus regarding Moses' favourite social collective in Lake Cruisers Ballarat. It's a jam packed two hour drop we're pretty excited to post.

This episode sees Moses return to NQ for the Cairns Show Auto Spectacular. Although random in parts, esecially around snippets of action from Saturday night's fundraising auction and the occasional dyno pull, this release aims to bring full insight to the recent Roaming Moses event attendance senario. While the audio quality may suffer slightly in parts from a lack of technological finery, the quality of the people and their hospitality displayed in this release is once more of the hook.
Moses went a'Roaming and here you'll discover why.
Note- May include random moments out of context haha -
In this episode Moses Mcready takes a deep dive into the modified car scene in Cairns, North Queensland. The hospitality iin these parts is certainly next level and so good in fact that the beard will be returning from 11-14 October in effort to bring all the highlights of the Cairns Show Auto Spectacular. It will all come into focus in this episode where as usual we are celebrating great people as much as great cars. It took Moses 32 years to get back on a plane and this upcoming high end show will see him flying north twice in three weeks. Enjoy the drop
Big Thanks

Join Moses, Skenny and Sound Guy Scotty as they are joined by studio guests and transmission building icons Paul Rogers Senior and Paul Rogers Junior. This was a great opportunity to celebrate Paul Senior's contributions not only to the modified car scene but also as a father working alongside his 2IC in Paul Junior.
It was also fantastic to be able to get this duo's thoughts on what they felt was hot in October 2024 Street Machine Magazine amongst some other smooth flowing banter, enjoy. -
This month's episode sees the return of your Hotrod loving hostess with mostest Tracey Fisher (aka the affable Evlyn Wilson). In this appearance Evlyn has brought along a plus one who may be the only person with the potential to keep her vivacious nature in check...but will they haha.
Listen in as we move through our review of September 2024 Street Machine Magazine and find out everything you need to know about the upcoming Jamieson High Country Rod Muster taking place October 11-13 2024. With entries for this event closing September 1 the time to act is now!!
Episode 70 is certainly crammed with fun and be warned things did get a touch loose as can often happen when like minds connect, enjoy. -
Join Moses, Skenny and 'Sound Guy' Scotty along with special guest with a layperson perspective Ann Mackintosh and returning guest and top lad Will Johnson of Lowered and Lifted Car Drawings as we delve into the killer release which is August 2024 Street Machine Magazine.
This Episode is a standout for Team Neverl8 by providing a wide range of views when it comes to all that is cool and good within the Australian modified car scene as presented in this Iconic tome.
As is standard practice we introduce these epic guests into the episode via our Neverl8 Eight Plus Two guest questions and some revelations are truly surprisingly life-affirming and heart warming.
Filled with warm and fuzzy vibes welcome to episode 69, enjoy -
In this short release Join Moses Mcready as he drops in on fabricator extraodinaire Nic Kuzakov to check the progress on his incredible, wide-bodied HR Holden Coupe build. The attention to detail within this build is top shelf as Nic creates this masterpiece while retaining and recreating so much HR dna that he is clearly building a future Icon worthy of the highest praise. Enjoy

Welcome back Joshua Rusty Baldwin as we attempt to review the epic release that is July 2024 Street Machine Magazine. With incredible feature cars and a big celebration of build scene 'Game Changer' Rob Beauchamp it's a tough one to condense.
We also spend some time digging for spoilers around AO and Scotty's fresh direction in their new podcast A Musos Tale released 2/7/24. -
In this episode moses is joined by Street Machining stalwart Peter Fleetwood before moving into some short chats with some good eggs around some cool cars.
-
For this episode we are joined by our Motorex man of the moment Grand Master Craig Mckenzie as we delve into our Sunday School review of June 2024 Street Machine Magazine. It was great to get the busy legend's take on this release while noting the type of builds which garner his attention as well as other parts of the magazine which get his creative juices flowing. Also knowing how much you guys love his contributions, we felt that we were well overdue to run through the Neverl8 Eight Plus Two with our very own Sound Guy Scotty. Then we were onto our Music Chat the segment that was greatly missed the one moment it vanished. Enjoy
-
Bookended with pre and post Motorex interviews with Craig Mckenzie and featuring Neverl8 Plus Two interviews by three with some Roaming moments, a Skenny drop in from Killer Cars Anzac Day Show and Shine and a member of Street Machine hierachy appearing in cameo form towards the end, this drop is jam packed.
-
Our two special guests Benny Hewlett, fresh from his Black Dog Institute fundraising ride across the USA, and Ben Mclean a Ballarat legend with heaps to contribute, are intoduced into this episode in the usual fashion before we move through the May 2024 Street Machine Magazine Sunday School Review and Music Chat segment of the show. It was a high honour for us to be able to get so much goodness into this tidy package and we really hope you enjoy these escapades, Moses and Skenny
-
Join Skenny and Moses as they rip into the April Street Machine Magazine to announce their favourite picks. Also if you're looking for an opportunity to meet the lads there are some revelations around our car event itenerary for this month...oh and Music Chat is back and Soundguy Scotty shines in this section as per usual.
-
Tune in once more as Moses has been out wandering and pointing his phone at people while repping Neverl8 around the show scene.
While the audio may not be as polished as the great audio wizard Scotty has delivered consistently owing to wind interference and backround V8 rumbles, there is definitely some primo banter in this lot.
Kicking off with a Neverl8 Eight Plus Two featuring Aaron 'Pozo gsc' Knowles of Aussie Bombs 48 instagram fame and covering moments from Queenscliffe Rod Run, Great Western Car Show and the newly crafted Newbridge Car Show as well as the WACK fundraising Horsham Car and Bike Show, this one covers some ground.
We've even dragged in MOOT royalty in the form of Bruce Howie for a quick chat only moments after he landed himself back in Vic ahead of the Hardass 1000.
Enjoy -
After a solid hour of 'much to discuss' General Business, join Moses and Skenny as they rip into a review of March Street Machine Magazine while struggling to leave some content out of the episode lol. For those often disappointed to see our releases wrap too soon this one's for you.
We know Moses loves a chat but never anticipated how much Skenny would add into the conversation on all things Street Machine and so much more. Reigning the lads in for a two hour episode may be a battle as Sound Guy Scotty soldiers through edits to keep audio qc to a level he can tolerate.
Included here is an update around a recent tragedy and a 'go fund me' recommendation we could all get behind. and much more -
For Skenny's debut in the co-host seat, he and the beard are joined by some Icons within the Aussie car scene to discuss what it is to be respectful when it comes to critiquing the diverse builds within said scene. Joined by Simon 'Simo' Major, Andrew Clatworthy, Deni Dave and Matty Waters this was a fun couple of hours...oh and we also put Deni Dave through a Neverl8 Eight plus Two that's well worth the admission in itself

Episode 62.....the dawn of a new era!
AO is saying farewell. As I load up my final episode into the airwaves, I reflect on the past few years. What a ride!! Met some unreal people and made new friends! I really didnt know what to expect when starting this journey with my co-host aka 'The Beard' but its been a great ride. Life is busy and time is hard to come by. its time to move on. So, in this episode we welcome friend of the podcast Scott Kenny as Co-Anchor of the Never Late Podcast, Skenny for short so as not to confuse with our Sound man Scotty!! Skenny brings a wealth of knowledge around the Street Machine scene so its in good hands! Thanks to Moses and Scotty for the journey, thanks to all the listeners, I am now one of you :)
On with the Show....This episode we review the Febraury 2024 Street Machine, discuss Summernats amongst other things. Its a bit of a long one!
Moses also had a chat to Shane Magri at a recent show about his Dad who recently passed away. Shane owns the local Ballarat Vintage & Collectables Market and puts on a show for Australia day. this is where Moses gets to have a chat. R.I.P Fred Magri.
