  • What’s up Classmates,

In this Class Discussion we invited Eric & Jeff from Itsthereal, Eric & Jeff are brothers based in New York City, they’ve been in the hip-hop scene for over a decade, from doing sketch comedy videos, to selling their self-titled show to MTV and releasing their own debut album where they’ve performed sold-out shows in NYC, London & LA. We discovered Eric & Jeff by tuning in their Chat-topping interview podcast “A Waste of Time” they’ve interviewed everyone from Common, Mac Miller, Trevor Noah, Tierra Wack, Joe Freshgoods, Cam Kirk & many many more. ⁣ ⁣

In this discussion we spoke about the come up story of Eric & Jeff, being both student of the hip-hop game, Jeff got his early start by meeting a guy named Kanye West, He became his personal videographer at the beginning stages of Kanye’s career, he got to document some of Kanye’s biggest moments like his 2005 first Grammy award, Eric worked as a writer for HBO & AOL comedy, we spoke about their early comedy sketch videos, some of their legendary interviews & everything they’ve accomplished so far on their journey.

These guys are the reason why we started Class Discussion, they’ve inspired us to create & launch our own interview show. It was fun as a fan to interview the interviewers, they’ve got such a unique approach to their craft, they’ve got a dynamic charisma & chemistry together,  this discussion was super insightful for us, They shared a lot of tips on how to launch a podcast but overall there’s just so much to learn from their creative process & their whole trajectory.  We hope that you enjoy it as much as we did & hopefully leave with some knowledge or a spark of inspiration.
