The Reds at the halfway mark are sitting at 39-45, and 11 games out of first place in the NL Central, 4,5 Games out of the final NL Wildcard Spot. Have the Reds done enough this far in the season to feel good about the teams chances after the all-star break?
Tim and Ben will dive into this discussion as well as give their thoughts on the returning Noelvi Marte, Has Jonathan India earned a spot as an all-star, or a potential Reds trade candidate, and more.

Nate was joined by Jack Jokinen, cohost of George's Box - a Yankees podcast - and author of the children's book Stray Dog for Christmas, a true story about a stray dog that finds a home just in time for the holidays. Jack's viral story about Suzy, the stray that wondered into their home and lives is too good to be true and a dose of positivity and goodness we can all use a little more of in our lives. A link to the viral YouTube clip that led to this incredible story is below, as well as a link to pre-order the book!
After talking dogs, the guys took a look at the upcoming Reds/Yankees series and discussed the different places these two teams - and their fans - find themselves in today.
Check out the amazing story here!

The on-field play has been pretty brutal of late, so the gang tried their best to have some fun amidst the gloom. Nate and Chad were joined by Joel Luckhaupt, statistician for the Reds TV broadcast as well as Seth Shaner of the Redleg Roundtable Podcast to give optimism the old college try - We're not sure they succeeded.
After getting some things off their chest and early Viewer Mail questions the gang did inject some life into the show by having a good old fashioned draft (sponsored by SeatGeek)! With the MLB draft coming up they drafted their favorite Reds draft picks over the years. Let us know who won in the comments! And in this time of great division, we can all unite and emphatically agree that it was NOT Chad.

The Reds Had Saturday's game won and blew it then didn't look competitive at all on Sunday vs the visiting Boston Red Sox.
It is yet another frustrating series for the team after a nice start to June.
After Sunday's loss, the Reds now sit at 36-41 and last in the NL Central. This has us wondering, why this team continues to go so up and down, and is it too late to believe this team can turn it around with 3 full months of games left?
Tim and Ben try to discuss these topics as well as the struggles of Will Benson, Elly, and Jeimer Candelario doing their part to keep the Reds offense going, and the return of Noelvi Marte

Nate was joined this week by Anthony DiNardo host of Pittsburgh Pirates podcast North Shore 9. They hashed out the Reds series loss, looked ahead to another matchup next week, and analyzed just how similar the trajectories of these two teams are.
Mostly though, they just waxed poetic about the young stars on both teams - particularly Elly De La Cruz, Paul Skenes, Hunter Greene, Nick Lodolo, and Jared Jones.

Once again, the Reds lose a series to the Brewers for the 8th consecutive set.
On Sunday the Reds had a 3-0 lead over their NL Central Rivals and still managed to blow the lead with a 5-4 deficit. What will it take to beat the Brewers? Is it even possible at this point?
Tim and Ben will discuss that as well as the upcoming series vs the Pirates, and we remember Ken Griffey Jr's 500th Home Run which he hit on Father's Day 2004.

On this special Father's Day edition of Redleg Roundtable, host Seth Shaner is joined by his grandfather, Harmon Thomas, to talk about life as a Reds fan.
The two talked about Thomas' first memories as a Reds fan and what it was like to go to Crosley Field for the first time, as well as living through the Big Red Machine's dominance.
Tradition is at the heart of being a baseball fan and is passed down from generation to generation.

Chad Dotson was joined by Joel Luckhaupt, statistician for Reds broadcasts on Bally Sports and longtime friend of the show, to discuss Cincinnati's streak to the top of the standings. Well, their streak to second place. Or third. Whatever.
We break down what has gone right in recent days and make some predictions about the rest of the season. Plus: which Reds player will make the All-Star team?

Despite Sunday's loss to the Cubs, June has been very kind to the Reds. Taking 3 of the four games against their division foe, and making up ground from the Brewers has the Reds back in discussion for post-season contention after just nine wins in May.
Tim and Ben recap the Cubs series, compare June so far to the horrid May the Reds had, and lastly discuss some of the team's performances.
Rounding out the show, Quincy Wheeler of Guardians Fancast joins the guys to discuss the first round of the Ohio Cup. Quincy discusses what has the Guardians off to their great start, the amazing season of Jose Ramirez, and his thoughts on the first of two two-game sets this season between the two teams.

Nate was joined by Tim Daniel on Scooter Gennett Day to discuss the Reds recent hot streak! They decided Nate should leave town more often so help the team's chances, dove into the sweep in Colorado featuring a no-hitter bid by Frankie Montas and an ELECTRIC comeback in the series finale.
The guys closed it out by Power Ranking the starting rotation, lamenting the latest speed bump in the Graham Ashcraft Hall of Fame campaign, and answering some Viewer Mail Questions.

Marty details highlights of his career behind the mic for some of the greatest moments in Reds history and talks about some of the people he described on-air throughout his career.
He shared stories about his time calling ABA games before being hired by the Reds and what it might have looked like had he stayed in that arena, longterm.

The Reds are coming off a big series vs the Baby Bears at Wrigley that had some high moments, some not so fun but a much-needed few days against a division foe.
Tim will recap the series vs. the Cubs, discuss Jake Fraleys's solid contact of late, and preview the upcoming series vs the Colorado Rockies.
Lastly, the show ends with Tim's pre-recorded interview with the Reds TV voice John Sadak. Tim and John caught up on Thursday between the Cardinals and Cubs series to discuss the Redlegs' current stretch and more!

The Reds sweep the Dodgers! We're back, baby!
The Reds lose a series to the stupid Cardinals. Same ol' Reds, sigh.
Perhaps it's more nuanced than that, but more importantly: Is Hunter Greene finally an ace? Chad debated that question and much, much more with Doug Gray.

Nate was joined this week by Jeff Carr, host of Locked on Reds, as well as Twitter legend and Riverfront family favorite Branch Brown to discuss the state of the union. After they had a terrible time recapping this ugly stretch they decided to channel their inner Geno Suarez and go Good Vibes Only!
The guys went toe-to-toe in a 6 round All Time Reds Trade draft where they had to choose from select categories to keep it interesting. And to round it, they discussed why there is, in fact, some reason to hope!

In this edition of Redleg Roundtable, Seth Shaner sits down with longtime Cincinnati Reds relief pitcher Scott Sullivan.
Sullivan had the distinction of throwing over 100 innings out of the Reds bullpen for four consecutive seasons and appeared in exactly 79 games in 1999, 2000 and 2001.
From his journey as a walk on at Auburn University to a second-round pick and beyond, Sullivan's story is a great one.

Another series blunder as today the Reds couldn't get Elly De La Cruz, the major league leader in stolen bases to third base with that fantastic ghost runner rule leading to a 3-7 West Coast road trip and an overall 19-28 record on the season.
Tim and Ben recap the weekend series, the frustrations of some of the big moments from the Sunday game vs the Dodgers, and give their thoughts on Hunter Greene's excellent performance.
The guys also dive into Spencer Steer and his struggles as well as Tyler Stephenson's success through the season.
Lastly, the guys look ahead to the return to GABP vs the Padres.

Chad, Bill Lack, and Chris Garber got together and this one went off the rails early. We discussed important questions like: Why are the Reds bat at hitting? Why aren't there enough napkins at Great American Ballpark? Should David Bell be on the hot seat?
