The March 2021 edition of the Archives of PM&R’s RehabCast features Dick Thijssen and his work towards figuring out how we can accurately estimate cardiovascular risk factors in spinal cord injured persons. It’s challenging to mitigate a risk you can’t even properly estimate. There are a lot of theories out there and now Thijssen and his colleagues at Liverpool John Moores University are putting them to the test.
