While she was at the hospital, Mary-Justine met someone that inspired her to pursue her journey as a social entrepreneur.
After spending her life in the US, and having lived in various countries in Africa, she settled in Bahrain and launched Shamsaha, meaning “her sun” in Arabic, to take care of women victims of violence in various countries of the Middle East.

When she was an international student in the UK, Joséphine observed the unfair consequences of immigration laws on foreign women. Ever since, she dreams that one day, their passports will not determine their destinies.

From her youngest age, Jimena has been told that she could make a difference. In her home country Mexico, she got to witness injustice and unspoken truths, first as a volunteer to support underprivileged children, and then as a professional psychologist.
With Reinserta, she supports women in prison to develop their skills, self-esteem, and maintain bonds with their children even through the walls.

Noella experienced loss of parental figures very early in her life. Her resilience led her to work as a model for various brands in the world's biggest cities. But she always knew that she would be fully fulfilled elsewhere.
15 years ago, she founded Malaika, a community center and a school located in a village of DRC, her home country, that empowers local girls with various skills to prepare them to be leaders and key players in the world.

Sadaffe has always had very strong female role models who taught her that women can make their own choices. As a young adult, she could not stand the inequalities affecting women in her home country, Pakistan.
After studying in the US, she created the Circle Association of Women to play an active role in empowering women facing multiple vulnerabilities, especially through digital literacy, that she considers as a basic human right.

Camila Rios Armas a fondé UniR, une association qui accompagne les réfugiés dans leurs inscriptions à l’université.
Être étrangère en terre inconnue, c'est une réalité que Camila connait trop bien. En 2014, elle quitte le Vénézuela pour poursuivre ses études en France. C'est en tant que bénévole dans la jungle de Calais, que naît son envie de s'investir pour les personnes en situation d'exil.

Rana Hamra est la directrice de l’ONG Humanity Diaspo qui lutte, entre autres, contre la précarité menstruelle chez les femmes en situation de vulnérabilité.
Rana est née à Cannes dans les années 80 « au sein d’une famille pauvre au milieu de gens riches », comme elle le dit. C’est dans ce contexte qu’elle découvre très vite le monde associatif.

Alan Caillaud a seulement 32 ans.
Je dis « seulement » parce que quand Alan raconte tout ce qu’il a vécu, on peine à croire qu’il est si jeune.
Fin 2019, à la suite d’un drame personnel, Alan fonde l’association Moulin de Pont Rû : un tiers lieu social, au cœur du Vexin, qui aide, en particulier, les femmes victimes de violences à se reconstruire.

Diariata N’Diaye est la cofondatrice de l’association Résonantes. En 2015, pour soutenir les femmes victimes de violence, elle a créé l’application App-Elles, aujourd’hui active en France et aux Etats-Unis. Elle raconte comment l’engagement au service des victimes de violences est inscrit dans sa propre histoire.
