Edit.....posting originally Friday evening but we had some extra audio bits in it that shouldn't have been there.....took these out so if you are seeing this Saturday onwards, you won't hear this.
This week's title may be a bit misleading; we did have it as a topic, but as the conversation paned out, we probably only spent 5-10 minutes on it.
Instead, we talked mainly about Chris' latest scan, and the great work of the Peace of Mind Foundation, a brain cancer charity, set up to support cancer patients and their families.
We were also joined by a good mate of ours, Megan, who chimed in with a few stories of her own. -
For those who tried listening to this previously, I uploaded the Part 1 version against this one.....sorry.....this one is the one I should have posted.
After Ep20 we were provided some feedback on our opinions. Rather than be worried about what people think, we are excited that this may be generating discussions amongst people about these important issues. Unfortunately we had to cut this chat short due to some other issues going on; it was originally going to be Ep21 but we decided rather than go back and finish it off properly (who the F does that??) we would just post it as a tack on to the Ep20 chat.

Manglende episoder?

Scheduling issues meant we didn't see each other till this morning, so its another late drop....apologies.
This week we wade into water that could get both of us in trouble, however we think this is a conversation that many of us should be having across generations.
Its really saying just because one generation thinks a certain way about different topics does not make them wrong....so a little care and tolerance is valuable.
also, hang around till the very end.....might be a little surprise outtake as well. -
A tough week for Chris, meant we didn't do a specific topic this week. We simply chose to have a chat and see where that landed. Today was about the worst day in the chemo cycle; thankfully he should start to feel better over the next week.
-
This week we are joined by our very first guest, the dick himself, Woody. (hehe)
We get into the importance of not being a pushover pussy, and have a bit of fun examining Chris' trials and tribulations with the fairer sex.
Enjoy.

This week we revisited our original notes from prior to starting the podcast. We bundled up a number of Chris' weird and wonderful thoughts on the world into one ep.We also find out that his brain can connect any topic to a blow job! And he tells us about Buddha's most famous saying which, by the way, everyone will be surprised how Buddha actually spoke back in the day.Enjoy.

After last week's F&%# up we return with a good sized chat about mainly TV shows we loved growing up, but also a bit of chat about movies as well.
-
This week we recorded about an hour of conversation about TV shows we loved as kids and the shows our kids watched (and we loved just as much as them).
Unfortunately, the technology gods decided that there was way too much perfect gold in what we were saying so they decided to "lose" half the episode to the ether.
End result is we have about 15 minutes of us talking about ourselves, and another 15 about some of the TV we loved.
We have decided this is a good topic that we could really do at least another hour on, so you will get part 2 next week.
(bonus: my kids have been calling for a shorter ep length, so we get to satisfy them a little this week!!)
-
This week we take the gloves off, and put a challenge to people to show a little more resilience, but more important ensure your children have it in spades.
We also respond to some unkind feedback from a couple of regular listeners, who have suggested that we may have gone a little too PC in the last few weeks, and we are showing boring and wanker signs.
I think it was the kick in the ass we needed....let us know what you think.

We decided that there isn't enough places where people can get information on how our system of government works. So this week we go through this. You will be surprised to hear that 90% of it is fairly non-partisan (a big feat for Chris) but he does manage to get the odd political view in there.
Technical difficulties meant we had to go back and re-record half the episode, so our apologies for the late drop of this one. Hopefully we can get back to our regular Friday evening publication this week.
Enjoy.

The episode that we knew was coming, but hoped we might avoid on this journey. It's been a tough week for Chris. His chemo treatment has started to impact on him more, and so he really couldn't engage his brain this week to a specific topic.
So we nearly decided to give this week a miss, but in the end, we decided a "Seinfeld" type episode, one about nothing in particular.
So its just us chin wagging about the shite that came into our head today. -
Didn't they just do this one? No, Stoic Philosophy is not Socratic Philosophy. One is the teachings of Socrates in particular, however Stoic philosophy is more targeted on you personally.
For the most part, Chris explains the concept in detail, while Gary just tries to keep up and make it look like he knows more than you think.
And apparently, Stoicism is back in vogue with the Millennials, so its taken 58 years but aparently Chris is part of something trendy in the world!
Thanks again for listening.

This week the boys delve into the topic of alcohol, and how it has had a grip on both of them at different times of their lives. There's a few sad stories, but also a few laughs about it as well.
-
This week we recorded on the 27th, just 2 days after Christmas. So we took the opportunity to consider what Christmas means to us, and the culture that exists around its traditions.
-
This week we discuss how running a successful business is interlinked completely with your development as a person and a leader.
We delve into our own business journeys and the realisation that we are much %$^@ smarter at this stuff now than when we started.......aaahhhhh why can't the universe work in reverse sometimes!
-
This week the boys delve into the evolution of sexuality in their lifetime; tell a few embarrassing stories of working it out; and try to remind young blokes that the things they see on porn videos is unlikely to be the way to approach their first sexy time session with a new date.
It sounds like a scary one to hit play on, but its really no where near as risque as it looks; venture forward and enjoy! -
The boys discuss their passion for mentoring others, be that in the workplace, on the cricket field, or just in the general journey of life.
Positive mentoring makes significant impacts on the lives of those that receive it, and we hope this chat will encourage you to become a better mentor, or reach out to someone you know could help you.
Enjoy.
