On this weeks episode we sit down with one of Megzy's great mates and the legend that is Matthew Thomas.
Matthew is a passionate freelance cinematographer, specialising in creating mesmerising visuals and compelling stories that leave a lasting impact. From breathtaking true stories to adrenaline-pumping brand films for sporting giants, he thrives on bringing each project to life with high-end production and attention to detail. The catch is, this can be at the detriment of his mental well-being and health.Whilst Matthew was working on his very own feature film, he burnt out physically and mentally. From a severe case of conjunctivitis to hallucinations from sleep deprivation, he pushed himself to his edge.
We explore where Matty's relentless drive for success stems from and unpack the relationship he has with himself, and why working on yourself should always be your number one project.
This was such a warm, deep, vulnerable conversation and we know you are going to absolutely love.Burner Theory Article: https://jamesclear.com/four-burners-theory

Loss of her brother Pat to addiction
What her experiences of grief have taught her about living
Her fertility journey & what it means to be a women in her late 30's with no children.

This week we dissect Megzy's dating life and talk about how having a crush on someone can be a real distraction for the mind. On top of that, we dive into the topic of comparison and how we both navigate that in a society that expects so much from us, especially as women in our 30's.
On one hand, it can motivate growth and self-improvement, serving as a benchmark to measure progress and aspirations. On the other hand, excessive comparison can lead to feelings of inadequacy, envy, and self-doubt. When we constantly measure our worth against others, we risk losing sight of our unique journey and individual strengths.
True fulfilment comes from embracing our own path, acknowledging our achievements, and appreciating that everyone’s story unfolds at its own pace. While comparison can provide perspective, it is important to remember that our value isn't determined by how we stack up against someone else, but by how authentically we live our own lives.Access free mini-meditations by Rushing Slowly on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.

Courtney Ugle is a powerhouse of resilience, a proud Noongar woman from Bunbury, WA.
She is the founder of Waangkiny, a social enterprise dedicated to empowering communities and fostering change through storytelling.
Courtney's life has been shaped by profound losses, having grown up in an environment marked by domestic violence and losing both parents at a young age. Yet, these challenges have only fuelled her vision, driving her to be a voice for those whose stories need to be told and heard.
We absolutely adore Courtney and we certainly made sure we let her know in this latest episode, she is such a beaming bright ray of sunshine in this World, even when the clouds can be a little grey at times. We know you are all going to absolutely love this yarn.

At the time of recording this episode, we hadn't seen each other in weeks! Very rare for us. Come along for some cheeky banter and insights into what is keeping us rushing.
Additionally, we go BTS on Zoe's latest Yoga Retreat in Sri Lanka. There is SO much work that goes on behind the scenes when you take 17 women over to a new country for a premium 7 day experience. For all of you who were wondering how she pulled off the retreat, alongside posting daily content and more, you will get all of your questions answered!
Megzy also takes us behind the scenes on what it is like to be an MC and the amount of work and preparation that goes into facilitating such big events and football games. It is so much more than just rocking up.
Most important, we reflect on a really fundamental philosophy that we both live by. No risk, no reward. If you aren't willing to put yourself out there, you're missing out on the potential doors that will be opening in your favour. We hope this gives you the courage to take that leap that terrifies you.
