Wendy is a unique, ultralight adventurer, tramping from the Kimberley's in Australia to the Loire Valley in France and the Great Walks of New Zealand. She has volunteered in Daramshala, the city the Dalai Lama calls home, in the foothills of the Himalaya, and with her partner ran away to the Circus.

Welcome to the Scroggin podcast. This is Episode 000, the introduction to the podcast and to me, your host, Russty Dutchman. The thing about the outdoors is that it is open to everybody, anybody….NO MATTER WHAT! You just need a little sense of adventure. What interests me the most is the everyday tramper, the everyday mountaineer, climber, packrafter, and outdoor enthusiast! Not the famous or infamous, red bull athlete and high altitude movie maker!
Scroggin provides sustenance and a pick me up for the outdoor enthusiast either on the trail or anywhere else.
So Scroggineers, the Scroggin podcast is dedicated to you, the mixed nuts, the chocolate bits, the dried fruit, the goji berries, and the M&Ms whether you’re a peanut or plain.....personally I'm a peanut!
I’m Russty Dutchman, your host...... I’ll see you soon with more tales from the trail.
