Silje Vik is on the show!
About Silje Vik:
Silje Vik describes herself as a holistic health geek who loves nature. To me she is also a friend, a sister, an inspiration, a teacher and a poet. She is someone who emanates the essence of true Love through her art. Her instagram profile is a love letter to nature and living what I like to call - The Beauty Way.
She radiates integrity, femininity, self-love, passion and meaning. This woman is on a mission. She studies health promoting work and psychology health. She is the founder of SOULSHINE, where she regularly hosts retreats in nature and courses on nutrition and health. She is a personal trainer, she facilitates women’s circles, poetry readings and workshops. No wonder I adore this human. As of recent we are also colleges at this new holistic center called Era Life Center in Bergen.
Topics:
What better woman to bring on The Beauty Way Podcast? She really walks the talk. Today we talk about Shame and Love. What they are, and our personal experiences and relationships with them. I learn so much from this woman. Very excited to finally share her with you!
Enjoy.

I touch on some touchy topics in this episode! It was all just too relevant not to mention right now... The overall theme of this episode is expressing truth, even though it might be scary or controversial.
This is a solo episode with a travel update. I share about my experience in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and my main themes in life atm. Sexuality. Money. The highs and lows of travelling. From poly to lonely. From villas to jungles. From wars to love.
Correction: When I say black tantra, I kind of I also mean dark tantra.
Also correction: I speak a little bit about ISTA, and it is so much more than just the sexual aspect. The potent healing tools and immense importance of this work, is what draws me back. The ancient wisdom, and the dedication and integrity of the facilitators to share it with the world. The prayer of planetary transformation. (through orgasms, hehe, jk, but not really)

As record this podcast, it's been 6 weeks since I sat with the queen of the jungle for the first time. This experience is not like any other Ayahuasca stories I have ever heard. It was, and still is surprising.
This is an intricate story about something that affected me in very delicate, sneaky ways. It ended up healing something I didn't know needed healing, days after the ceremony. And the blockage that was removed is now still somehow healing my body image and insomnia in even weirder ways through more painful lessons.
The snake that is this medicine is still in my body. She is frustrating, wise and slow. I'm here for it. And I'm here to do my best to share it with you. In 30 minutes.

Last episode I was in the ashes. In this episode, I rise. Realizing why I had to leave Ecuador to go to Colombia, even though it was hard as hell. Never have I experienced such a great loss. But I regained faith, thanks to the love of The Great Mystery, revealing itself as two human beings.
Today I read my personal journal to you, in this mixture of a poetry reading and honest story time. A fairytale in fact - about magical meditations and true friendship.
The Soul Family continues to expand; beautifully and painfully.

I've finished 1 month at the yoga teacher training and just arrived in Colombia. It's raining, I'm alone and I regret leaving.... I miss my friends at the yoga school to death, and I wrote them very personal love letters; which I share in this short, but overtly dramatic episode.
Traveling is blowing my mind, breaking my heart and opening it up again. It feels like I'm seeing the world for the first time. A new world. Everything keeps getting deeper and deeper; meditation, yoga, food, pain, pleasure, breath, writing, relationships, nature, rituals, me. Constantly going deeper into a mix of magic and hyper-real dimensions.
The people I meet are fucking fairytales. Movies have never justifiably portrayed such colorful beings as you encounter when you travel. Letting go and trusting the process is a storm. Here's 15 minutes of it.

It's my second week of my yoga teacher training at Durga's Tiger School of Yoga, Tantra, Arts and Shamanism. Preparing for three days of silence before sitting with grandmother Ayahuasca for the first time.
I talk about my intentions for the ceremony, after giving you a summery of my other experiences here which include: Sweat lodge, limpias, tobacco, and finding my first (and very peculiar) spirit animal!
This is a juicy one. I get very personal talking about body image, self harm, self love and shame around sexuality. LET'S G(R)O(W)!

In this 2nd. episode of the podcast I get personal. It's a chill, intimate chat about arriving in Ecuador, why horses are cool and why break ups can be cool too. I read my latest poem to you and dwell on the immense transformational powers of any art form. This is where I'm at, physically and mentally. Hope you're inspired <3 A nice, calming bedtime pod for sure.
(Also realized later I had altitude sickness when I recorded this. 3000m above sea level in Machachi, Ecuador, wiii)

Hello and welcome to the first episode of the podcast! I did it, man. I don't have an intro, I don't have permanent podcast art. I just wanted to get started. As I record this, I'm leaving for South America in under a week. I wanted to share what lead up to me starting a podcast, and leaving everything behind in Norway. This episode is about letting go of perfectionism (letting go in general) and how it super duper lead me on the right path, a path with a new family - a soul family. Join us!
