festivalgoers to boycott Marley’s performance due to his efforts in 2018 to raise funds for the Israel Defence Force.
The panel also discusses the decisions of Kiwi artists Vera Ellen and Georgia Nott who pulled out of performing at South By Southwest after learning that the US music festival is sponsored and has partnerships with several tech companies who manufacture weapons for the IDF and that the US Army is one of six “Super Sponsors”.
