  • In 20 years of clinical medicine, Sheila has taken care of a lot of very sick children but to an even greater extent, she saw kids with lifestyle induced problems. Poor sleep, unhealthy diet, sedentary lifestyle, unhealthy weight and frequently a lot of depression and anxiety were keeping these kids from living in their best health.

Dr. Sheila Carroll is a board-certified pediatrician and obesity medicine physician who is dedicated to helping children achieve their best health.

  • Fiona is the founder of Home Sweet Homes, a co-parenting journal and planner aimed at helping young children adjust to life after a separation or divorce.

As a single mother to a 5-year-old boy, she experienced first-hand the challenges that come with co-parenting, including stress, anxiety, guilt, and a lack of resources to support young children.

Fiona searched for tools and products to help co-parents and their children but found that there were few solutions available that directly involved children. This inspired her to create the Home Sweet Homes journal and planner, which evolved from a $2 mini planner she found at a dollar store.

The Home Sweet Homes journal and planner is designed to keep co-parents and their child connected and informed about each other's daily lives, while also providing comfort and joy across their two homes.

Fiona's mission is to bring positivity out of a difficult situation by combining the benefits of a journal and planner into a tool that stays with the child. After countless hours of brainstorming, writing, editing, and designing, Fiona had the first prototype of Home Sweet Homes in her hands in February 2021.

  • When her kids were young she parented intuitively which worked pretty well. Then they hit the teen years and life became chaotic, tense, and drama-filled. This weeks guest felt worried, angry, frustrated, scared, and exhausted.

She told her kids what they “should” do and what they “need” to do. She offered her wisdom and told them why they were wrong and what the “right” way was.

And when none of that worked, she punished them. The result was more conflict, arguments and they shut her out.

Like most parents, she read books, listened to podcasts, and speakers, but nothing seemed to worked.

In 2016, she found a program which showed completely new parenting communication strategies that dramatically changed her relationship with her children and made her house a more calm and peaceful place to be.

These strategies and tools were so life changing that she knew she needed to get this information into the hands of as many parents as possible.

Jeanine Mouchawar is a professional life coach who specializes in helping parents navigate the challenges of raising teenagers.

Her coaching services aim to provide parents with the necessary tools and techniques to create a more harmonious relationship with their teenagers.
